Scrap. I got a contact that will get me a "low" mile 5.3 with the 4l60e and xfer case for $1850. I will stay with my NP205 xfer tho.

I'm I the only one that is wondering why the same guy that calls himself "Megadoomer" and paints everything some version of flat black makes his to do list with pink pen?

So Purple is actually my favorite color. I do almost everything thing at work with a pink or purple pen. Just like people dress well in certain colors more than others, I think Pigs do too. The attitude of the Megadoomer speaks black, and lots of it. Some pigs look cute with white and some earthy tone, mine does not.

Got some list items started yesterday. Dropped the tank and took a look at fuel pickup options. Got the windows and door locks working on the passenger side. Ordered some door hinges that come from a Toyota Avalon for the rear seats to tilt forward.

Cruisin Grand is a weekly car show in Escondido that is every Friday night through spring and summer.

My shocks came in. This is a local shop in El Cajon that supplied the rear shocks for the PO. I am holding on doing the new suspension so I had them fit a shock for the front too.

Fixed the brake line flange but need to bleed still.
Fab'd a new alternator bracket.
Figured out the grounding issue in the dash.

Ok, Easter update. Last I got a lot items delivered from the Amazon fairy.

Speakers, exhaust wrap, hinges, Holley Hydramat, door loom rubber, and a bunch of odd and ends. I even got....

...partially torn Achilles.

That was putting my garage days on hold until this hot rod showed up.

So yesterday was the first time I could work on the Doomer, but Steve (father-in-law) had done a ton of things in my absence.
