Has this setup ever been drug across rocks or logs or anything just seems like the single tubing xmembers to be a little under built not dogging ya @GLTHFJ60 just saying what i see as i over build s***.

I also didn't know you had a skid plate either I'm guessing it connects the front tube xmember and the rear xmember front to back.
That said if it does then it would help with what I was wondering about the racking of the tubeing if it get caught not the actually tubing getting bent. Believe me I know how strong dom tubing is been around it for many many years as i am a fabricator not just a landcruiser guy on mud talking s***.

The front crossmember is above the bottom of the transmission case, and the rear crossmember is way above the bottom of the transfer case. If I didn't have the skidplate, I'd have to drag the truck literally on the transmission case before it ever touched the crossmember. IMO it's an ideal setup.
No the skidplate doesn't connect the crossmembers. I had thought about doing that, but didn't want the weight of the truck pressing up on the bushings unnecessarily. I opted for a plate style skidplate that bolts to the bottom of the frame rails, both for ease of maintenance and overall strength.
Anyway, matt doing the same thing should prevent the issue of his doubler bolts pulling out. Still needs a skidplate, single crossmember, double crossmember, or not. The key takeaway is that the crossmember's job is to support the driveline, not hold the truck up when parked on top of a rock. This is why skidplates exist.

I noticed both the transmission and the transfer case are lower than the xmembers also. Like I said just stating what i see not dogging what you did just wanting to know how it has held up to actual wheeling not mall crawling.

Yes sir a guy named Scott its a pro mega truck mud racing truck named to sexy was built by a team of us very high dollar build npt sure if you have heard of king sling or bog hog but its thst level of mega truck should be able to Google search king sling.

I don't know if it's KING HOG SLING JOB strong but it is definitely a lot more clearance then the FJ62 crossmember I had been running. Gained 2-3" I think. Still have to make the second crossmember behind the T-case but at least now I'm legit for the skreet again. Sorry for the horrible pictures.

also one of my friends does interior cleaning as a side hustle and for my birthday offered to do the 62. I still hadn't cleaned it out from my cross country trip and it was disgusting. It smelled horrible. A mix of parts, gear fluid, general homelessness, etc.
Got everything out, soaped the seats, carpets. mats, everything and got the horrible smell out. The drivers seat took four or five sessions with the hose before it was clean.
