Great points. I’ll go with Planted to make sure the brackets are correct.
Just reach out to them directly before you order. I think most have about 15" spacing from inside to outside in front and back. If you have that, it's likely no biggie. For some reason, mine were only 13" in the front.

I finally got my Goose Gear plate back in and got a new drawer installed. Next, I'll be working on getting my spare installed on the left of the drawer. Originally, I was going to use a ratchet strap to hold it in, but I'm thinking about fabricating a bracket to hold it. Haven't decided if I'm going with a Bell Fab style bracket (for 80's) or go a different direction.

Anyways, here are some pics of what I've got going on.

Finally got the roof rack removed. I was just never a fan. To fill the holes, I’m trying “sealing washers” which are just cupped washers with a rubber sub-washer bonded to it.

BUT … there was one (there’s always one) screw where the rivnut seems to have broken loose. Any ideas on how to get that thing out??

And without a roof rack !!

I was able to work the loose rivnut down into the headliner. I bought the HF rivnut kit and set in a new one. Now, we wait to see if the sealing washers keep out the rain!!!

Also got a Packout bracket installed on top of my drawer. I love these things.

While I was replacing my shackles and bushings, I decided to cut off tailpipe to make space to work. Had a new tailpipe put back on today. They added a v-band so I can remove it again if I need to do any work. Pretty happy.

I love v band clamps
They are definitely sexy. At some point, the rest of the exhaust will need to be redone. I will likely add more to make the system easy to remove and repair. New 2.5" tailpipe, replacement hanger bracket, and the clamp for $220 seems like a decent deal.

I’ve been working on extending the goose gear plate system from the cargo area to the back of my back seat. Pretty happy with the result for doing it freehand.

Also go the hatch struts swapped!

Finally got a chance to work on the spare tire carrier. I’m a fan of having it inside the truck. So, I designed and welded this up. There’s probably a few things I’d do differently next time, but happy with the progress.

Looks good! Definitely looks solid!
Thanks. It's quite solid. Planning to attach a plate to the wheels and use 3/4" threaded rod and some sleeves to mount it to the crossbar.

That looks Boss! And you get the fine scent of rubber, which I like. Good job, very clean setup.

It’s an acquired taste, but masks the exhaust smells. LOL
