So you cut it off and beat banged it back into shape and welsed it back into place nice work never seen someone do it like that but makes sense their genius 👏👏

Jim @CenTXFJ60 get the credit. His recommendation

I’ve read that dry ice can pull dents out. Would it work on our trucks or would that be more for newer cars?

I feel like that's more work than prying it out from the backside, but it's hard to argue with the results. Nice work man!

thanks. I don't think the pictures can really convey how tweaked up that corner was it was really bad. I've crunched that corner more times then I can count

@FJACS was asking about my rusty roof... in case anyone forgot I picked up this roof like four years ago and have been storing it since. Maybe one day I’ll get around to it :hmm:

Do it Matt!!!

One of my hesitations is that I just KNOW that within 6 months of putting this roof on I'm going to put this thing on its lid off-road.

Well my third CBR pump came in today. Got it cheap on ebay out of a low-miles wrecked 2018 Duramax. Going to make some minor changes to hopefully make this one last longer then a single trail ride

Decided to move my reservoir to be directly above the steering pump, this should to prevent it from running dry which is what everyone thinks I had been doing with my previous location and the reason I have been burning pumps up.
Installed along with replacement pump and some lengthen and shortened hoses

New location. Can't really tell in the picture but the 10AN feed hose is a much more direct shot now

compared to where I originally put it. You can also see how dirty it's gotten since then. Now that it is out of this corner I am thinking about moving my ECU into that spot to clean up the wheel well on this side a bit.

Ok basic question, maybe someone has dealt this with before. For some reason my radio doesn't have power to it anymore? It was working fine when I parked it in August. Cig. lighter fuse is fine, clock works, pulled the radio out today and the fuse in the back of it was blown but I'm not getting 12V to the radio connector. Obviously I have a problem somewhere, any FJ62 people had this happen? The radio wire goes into the big dash harness. I don't see any reason I would just randomly have bad connection in there now?

EDIT nevermind i figured it out. I forgot that the constant 12V for the radio comes from the Dome light fuse. One of the wires in the adapter harness for my stereo had fallen out of it's splice and i guess grounded out and blew that fuse. Radio works again.

Amazingly I’m actually working on my own Cruiser this weekend instead of everyone else’s. First project this morning was a quick aluminum panel to replace my rear cargo panels that finally fell apart from abuse. I used riv-nuts in the original push-clip holes in the body after drilling them out a little bit. I also cut out the vertical brace to have more room inside. I also need another speaker grille if anyone has one to get rid of!

My other project was getting the 2nd crossmember fabbed and welded in.
I’m going to weld a fill port into the PTO cover since this mounting blocks the original fill port.
You can also see my shiny new speedometer cable I installed.
