Set up a bit of a booth in the shed.. it isn't sealed but helps reduce overspray and is a bit of a deterrent for bugs/moths when spraying at night..

Got a few coats of self etch primer down.. used two full pots across the roof and the front.. I wasn't aware how much the body filler sucks up the moisture out of the primer and it made it look a bit dry when it landed.. some areas are good, some could be better. I'm hoping that after a few coats of high build primer, and a sand that it'll come out ok..

I just gotta keep telling myself "its not a show car, its not a show car" and keep on keeping on .

I have been saying that since I bought my Pig. My engine swap and suspension upgrade has gotten the "while you are here" scope creep. I haven't had to do even close to the work you have done, but finding rust under bondo has really got me down lately. To the tune of me not doing some of the future upgrades I want because it is throwing good money after bad.

No fun when your Pig is getting you down...

An impromptu visit to Vet ER Friday night, a big session on the cans Saturday (resulting in spending most of the night sleeping in the bath tub) , and crazy weekend working sat and sunday meant not much got done on the pig. Friday night saw me guide coat the roof and take a lot of those hard edges off you see in the video, but theres still more to do. I got somem glaze putty and few other odds n ends saturday morning that should help facilitate another coat of primer once this is all blocked down.

Got the roof blocked down using 180g and went over all the imperfections I could find with some glaze putty.. i'll flatten those spots out then give another coat of high build primer.

ER visit? What happened?

Does "big session on the cans" mean you hoisted a few?

Dog ate mouldy compost and was trippin hard.. Compost Toxicity in Dogs | River Road Veterinary Clinic - https://riverroadveterinary.com/compost-toxicity-in-dogs/

Big session on the cans meant I WASNT DESIGNATED DRIVER! and yes I did have a "few".
Barking at the grass?
Fell over and I couldn't get up - had to call the wife to get rescued in the yard
also felt the involuntary need to redecorate the bathroom.. and coincides with my nap in the bathtub... no sense wasting an opportunity for a few drinks, they dont happen very often!

another shot of primer... I'll seam seal the gutters, then block the roof back to 400grit before paint.
