Yay for PPE.. and a booth! there was quite a bit of overspray on everything so it was good to be contained within that space.. Those are fresh filters on the respirator too.

It's been a busy few days.. It's school holidays here and the wife had organized a 3 night getaway with her mum and the 3 kids so I could get some work done on the pig without interruptions... The solid block of time on the pig meant I could get some extra hands in to help too.

so I took friday off work and got the interior etch primed and high build primer down ready for paint:

My mate Ben went through and seam sealed it yesterday:

Gary fitted the AC pump and idler, then helped modify the factory 1FZ power steering cooling lines to fit up to the 15BF. They still need a bit more love with the front bib on but they are close.

I got the starter on:

Dummy fit the snorkle.. I think It'll fit with a bit of heat gun massaging:

And I modified the trans tunnel cover to suit the gearbox/4wd shifter:

A heap of other stuff was done too like strip the hardware from all the doors, fender and hood ready to strip the paint.. rear diff brake stuff put back on, etc and a few other things worked through.

I'm busting a nut to try and get the interior painted so I'm ready to get the windscreen glass installed.. the weather this weekend is cold and wet and the best day on the long range forecast is tuesday at this stage so fingers crossed I can knock it out then.

The next big ticket item for me is to figure out how to fab up brackets for the radiator and intercooler setup up front..

Also going to have to build 1 airbox out of two, fab a battery tray, etc.

The big kicker is getting the interior painted cos that means I can start putting the dash, pedal box, steering all together for the last time.. Also on my list is to check pinion flanges match what I'll be running with the 4.56's, and finding drive shaft uni's to fit, then measuring for driveshafts, and ordering seatbelts too...

Having fun mixing and matching driveshafts so I can get the driveshafts shortened and they are running the correct flanges for now on 4.11's and then again when I swap in the 4.56 air locked diff centers..

I think these are the drive shafts from the 80 and BJ73.. I need to dig around some more and see if I can find the 55 drive shafts.. they may mean I avoid having to bust uni joint flanges off one to fit on the other..

The reflection in the paint on the roof is crazy!

Driveshafts dropped off for shortening and new clutch slave installed yesterday.. Prepped ready to lay down some paint today on the interior as its my last window before windscreen install with the weather looking favourable.

Looks like you know what you're doing. :) Stay motivated!!!
