I need to something with a V8 for towing a boat and trailer so I'm looking at a 4Runner or 100. This has been a great cruiser, we have owned it about four years. It has the factory lockers. 3rd owner, only 117,000 miles on it. It has ZERO rust on the undercarriage, super clean vehicle from CA. Runs excellently. All maintenance and tuning has been done my Brett (Damaged110 screenname ) who is a Toyota Master tech and 80 owner. Fires right up and idles perfectly. Everything works except the antenna. The AC blows extremely cold and doesn't cut out. Truck runs very cool, I've never got it above 210 and I wheel all summer long in Vegas. Leather is in good condition. Driver's seat...
Been doing some trading. Traded my 51 desoto for a 1975 Trans am. looking to get a 40.
1975 T/A with a bored out, mildly cammed Pontiac 400 out of a 1969 GTO. Rebuilt trans and rear end. No rust. needs paint and front ground effects. Interior ok. has some dash cracks and other wear. Front seats have covers but are shot underneath. rear seat and headliner perfect. Glass perfect. Tires good.

Has some electrical gremlins as some cheeseball put LED lights under it back in the 90's probably. It was obviously well taken care of by someone who had no taste.
The guy I got it from spray-bombed it white and didn't do a great job of taping off stuff. overspray a plenty.

The Bad: the truck began overheating, I immediately had it towed home where it stayed until I some time to look at her. Changed out t-stat, no change. Note, there was never any white smoke out of the tailpipe. I poured some "Bars Stop Leak" in the radiator and the overheating stopped. So bottom line, the engine and/or cooling system is not right. Besides this the brakes are about done as well.

My wife and I are relocating to Colorado, and I need something that won't get stuck so easily on snowy mountain roads. I'm looking to trade even for an excellent example or cash plus a '78-'82 BJ40 with a hard top, preferably a 5-speed (4-speed is acceptable), power steering and AC, little to no rust (must be safe and not have issues with water leaks or bad drafts), and as close to stock as possible (modifications may be acceptable, it depends on what we're talking about and more importantly the quality of workmanship). Didn't see this day coming anytime soon but have decided to sell the 4Runner. This rig was featured in 4WD Toyota Owner magazine, fully loaded with all options and offroad gear. Also just did the timing belt, and water pump so it is good to go for another 100k. Supercharger tune is good to go and have software to go with rig for future tuning. Previous owner had factory leather added at dealership from a limited, and I added new front black carpet and padding.
