New tire day! Always nice to have some new rubber on the truck. Replaced the 31x10.50 KO2s with some 33x10.50 Mickey Thompson MTZs. These are on the factory 15x7 -20 wheels. As much as I’m not a particularly fond of these style factory wheels, I decided to stay OEM as I haven’t found an aftermarket wheel that I really like on the 70 series.

Perspective photo shots since we all love visuals.

I also have the same wheels and seeing the 33s on yours makes me want to do the same. The OEM wheels grew on me over time so I decided to keep them.

Replaced the old, worn wiper stalk with a new one.

Now she looks more like Japanese and not Chinese. It’s the slant in the eyes.

I can get it for you tomorrow, or just search the 40 page for “halogen replacement”. The first kit I purchased was $11 and the price for the second kit went up to $23. The kit includes the glass housings, 12v bulbs, wiring, and relays. I just switched the bulbs to 24v and the relays are rated for 12v and 24v.

Did you use the Toyota halogen replacement kit?
Sure did. Mine was free. A friend that has a Toyota/Landcruiser junk yard (Toy Connection) gave me a set. He bought 20 sets.

Literally the best bang for the buck ever on a Toyota part number.

Thank you both. That’s now on the list of stuff to be ordered once I track down the part number for early 79 series window moulding clips.

Although I’m enjoying the leg room, the downside to the cab swap on my 75 is that VIN based part searches aren’t in the cards.
