I know it's sketchy to see somebody with a for sale ad as their first post. But I have lurked on this site in the past, and I was a regular in the International section of PBB for a while.
Anyway, I bought a Bronco truggy, so it's time to sell the Scout. *It is located in Huntsville, AL
1974 International Scout II: $3000 * (Willing to take $2500 without tires/wheels)
345ci V8 with TBI conversion
TF727 Automatic
D20 Transfer Case
D44 front and rear axles - front Lockright, rear spool
Disc Brakes front and rear
Spring over axle conversion with cut and turned C's for proper pinion and steering angles
Anti-wrap bar
Wheelbase extended to 103"
Crossover steering with high steer
Interior cage
Tube rear bumper with receiver
Fuel cell
37" Boggers with small lugs cut out of rear tires
15" DIY beadlocks
New / Recently Installed: Starter, Fuel pump, Ignition switch, Spark plugs, Plug wires, Distributor cap, Rotor button, Fuel cell
LOTS of spares: axle shafts, drive-lines, another set of leaf-springs, a few starters, wiper motor, shift cable, diff cover, etc
I have driven this rig on the street in its current form (with 33" AT's), and it drove wonderfully. It went straight at 60mph, and I was so impressed that I even toyed with the idea of making it a street vehicle again.
