I'll explain:
Picked up a loaded 97 LX 450 w/factory lockers & 153K sight-unseen for 5K in Chicago from a used luxury lot. When I asked the condition they said "seats are a little worn, needs a bumper, but other than that... it's great... it's a Lexus!"
When I got there, it was really obvious that we were on different pages in terms of "it's great" means.
They immediately knocked off another K so I wouldn't walk. I took it off the lot (the factory lockers kept me in the game) knowing at the very least, I needed:
- new seat covers & trim leather in front
- mirrors (all 3)
- body work on hood (rust)
- new cowl
- antenna
- tires
- 3 lamp lenses (cracked)

So to feed my addiction (FJ's) I am going to sell my '97 Nissan Altima. It is in near perfect condition and has only 47K miles on it. I bought it from my grandma about a year ago. I live in NYC so I don't drive to work or anything. I want to keep having a land cruiser. of course, and don't need or really want two cars. I looked a bit on the internet and people are asking about $6,000 for cars with similar mileage, although I didn't see any with mile quite this low. So if anyone needs a gas sipper and dependable DD this is it. Old lady owned for pretty much all of it's life besides the past year. Just to the store and back.

My HJ60 turned 25 today. I've been contemplating the sale for some time and have found a Delica to my liking that has a veggie oil kit on it, for sale. So here's the low down and dirty on the HJ60.

1994 Land Cruiser
216k miles - Runs like a champ, and doesn't leak/drip a drop of anything.
Factory E lockers - Actuators need cleaning, figure 8's will get them all working, but then they get gummed up again. The PO's never used them.

$500 87 60 in SLC I found a 60 in SLC, owner is asking $900 but will take $500. I went and checked it out today:
The good:
-engine seems great, 2F, 175,000
-New clutch a year or two ago
-Transmission seemed fine
-Rust in usual spots, but not very bad. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being no rust, 10 being held together by any paint that's left, I'd say it's a 3 or 4 at worst. None in the front quarter panels.
-Seats and most of the interior is in good shape
-Paint is fair to good
The bad
-Leaks from center differential
-Cat gaskets need replaced
-The steel plate under both is welded on. Will have to be cut off / broken off to make the repairs.
-Steering is wacky. Sluggish when turning left, responsive when turning right, some...

I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan. 6 spd. manual with heated leather seats, sunroof, 6 disc changer and Navigation. This is my daily driver so I am looking for an FJ62 that could take its place. When I bought the car it had 32,000 miles, it currently has 128,000. The car does have a few small dings, one on the diver side door (smaller than a dime) and on the hood same size.

I am selling my wife's daily driver since I bought her a Suburban. This is a great vehicle and I hate letting it go, but I have TOO many vehicles. I bought it with around 75000 miles and it now has 196xxx. It has been well maintained and there are no issues with it. It does show normal wear on the drivers seat and the hood shows some minor fading and rock chips/etc. It was in a minor accident about 4 years ago...I wasn't paying attention in a parking lot and hit a light pole...all damage was repaired and it looks great (driver's front end). 1997 Locked LC w/ cloth in NE Texas [SOLD]
I have to sell my 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser. It's bone stock and all original as far as I know with 209,441 miles. Carfax shows a clear history and I am only the second owner!
