For sale is my 80 series. I bought it used in 1997 with 40K miles on it. I've driven and maintained it for 14 years and ~ 168K miles.
I'm selling it to pursue something older, in worse condition, and much more impractical - not interested in trades - $1,500 or best offer
the good:
- factory front and rear locking differentials, fully functional
- ARB front bumper (dented & scratched but still 1000% better than stock) - (winch ready but no winch)
- rust bucket running boards removed
- factory stereo bit the dust so replaced with aftermarket (4 new/improved speakers as well - no big glass shattering subs or anything, just a functional double din cd/tape/radio/with remote
- electric antenna works properly with up & down switch...
My son rolled his 4Runner while we were wheeling. It's supposed to be his daily driver. In order to fix it and further upgrade it, he decided he needs to sell his car. 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 4 speed. Fairly new to the forum, but have used it extensively to work/resto my old pig. Much thanks to the forum and its members. I almost sold the pig to finish a chopper build, but couldn't do it. So the chevy has to go. This is a very reliable rig in great shape with power everything. The drivetrain is solid with a 350 v8and 4x4 works with no problems. Interior is nice with 3rd seat. There is a small dent on the left rear and the windshield is running a crack. NO RUST. Fluids changed, new battery, starter and tune up done this past month. Up for sale is my 1970 FJ40. I have had it for about 2 years now. Its a 3 speed on the column with a ramsey PTO winch. The entire body on this truck has been acid dipped, doors, tub, hood, aprons all of it. Epoxy primed and then painted. New tires Bfg 10.5 AT mounted on new factory rims. The rims are not riveted so if you wanted to do disc brakes you wouldnt have issues. Every seal around doors, windows, top are all new. The truck has a brand new 4 inch lift with castor shims, all seats were taken apart sanded, primed and painted. Drivers seat has new foam and reupholsterd. New factory headliner. We hate to sell this but we bought some land in the mountains and are going to build a cabin. This is a great off-road unit with a foot of ground clearance from the factory. You won't pull it through the Rubicon but it's very maneuverable and spacious once you get to where you want to go - which is a lot further out than the vast majority of the other units. There are definitely more off road capable but dinky trailers, but if you want to get way out away and have plenty of room inside when you get there this is one to consider. It pulls very well off and on road.
