I had a 2002 Tacoma DC a few years ago that I ended up having to get rid of due to a new work commute and got the Jetta TDI. Well now I have a work vehicle so I'm itching to get back into a truck. This car is a lot of fun and has loads of potential for more power. If you know anything about these cars you know they go forever and 2003 is considered by most to be the best motor for this car.
I can discuss more details with anyone interested but just thought to throw this up here to see if it caught any interest. My dream would be another 2003 DC but I need at least an extended cab for the dogs but am open to most anything.

Hey guys i'm located in NH and have been looking for about a month for a 1st gen 4runner but haven't had any luck finding anything reasonably close. I am mostly looking for a 1st gen runner, but will definitely consider any newer models. I'm trying to find something that is highway friendly as I drive west in the winters for ski season, so hopefully something that's not super built. I have between 5 and 6K and will pay in cash. Cruiser came out of texas ~4-5 years ago spent a year in Durango and I have been enjoying it for 3yrs here in Price Utah.
Body and frame are clean no rust or cancer. Paint is excellent with minor fading on hood and roof. Interior is in great condidtion with the exception of the cracks in the dash pad.
Here are the things that I have done:
OME 2.5" lift heavys front & rear
Added 2.5" bracket to brake LSPV
Rodney flushed the tranny (synthetic)
Changed all fluids in diffs, transfer case, tranny, engine
New master brake cylinder & stainless soft lines (big improvement)
New radiator, hoses, thermostat, temp sending unit
Permenant window door lock relay fix (thx slc cruiser)...
I am selling my 2004 Toyota 4Runner. It is in perfect running condition and I am only selling the vehicle because I am moving to Japan at the end of the month. The vehicle is dark gray and has 116,000 miles. It is a v6 sport edition and the lift is a Toytec Ultimate coil over suspension lift (3" in front and 2" in back to level the vehicle). The tires are Goodyear Wrangler ATS (all terrains) that are 265/70R17 (~32") and have over half tread left. I replaced the factory stereo system with a pioneer premier touch screen DVD player and GPS Navigation unit. It also has MB Quart speakers and a kicker 10" subwoofer. I haven't seen many Hondas listed on Mud! I have a 2006 bought new in late 2007. I had the HRC kit (factory power boost with hotter cam, less restrictive muffler and carb jetting) installed at the dealer before bringing it home. Blingstar nerf bars and billet handle bar clamp. Everything else is stock. The little use it has had has been light. Well maintained and runs very good. I consider it very fast. Over $6,000 invested new with upgrades. Asking $3,750.

We have a 85 4 runner for sale! These are hard to find, and this one is a great truck for a mild to wild wheeler. It has the sr5 package, lumbar supported seats. It is missing 3 interior plastic pieces. Suspension is 4" lift springs in the rear and new front springs. It doas have damage on both rear 1/4 pannels. the 22re is the strongest running 22re I have ever set foot on, it gets 22-24 mpg. Headers and sliders are among the list of aftermarket parts, along with a brand new clutch and a e-locker in the rear with 5:29's front and rear! It has 35" tires, but have minimal tread life left. This truck was just built within the last year. It’s VERY clean and lines are just right on it. Exo-cage looks just as good in person or better, very tight to the cab. When built frame was pulled off cab and everything was cleaned and painted on the frame, under cab & body. IMO the only thing the truck needs to make it a true crawler is a doubler (which I have every part needed) and/or some 4.7 gears in the case.
