New enthusiast looking to purchase a mechanically sound fj62. I don’t really have a color preference, but obviously as little rust as possible. Looking to make it into a daily driver for myself. My prince range is around $7,000 or more depending on the vehicle. Willing to travel for the right vehicle as well. Would consider an fj60 but I encounter a decent amount of traffic and I’m lazy.

I found this 1989 HJ60 with the 2H for 8500, no major visible rust on body or frame, I also did the magnet around the body on most possible areas of rust. Is this a good price?

She’s SOLD!!! 1984 FJ60, Houston Texas asking $10k 186,766 miles, price reduced June 20th for motivated buyer.
I'm the 2nd owner, vehicle has always been located in Houston.
Never been used for mudding, only few times on dirt roads.
All original except: bull bar, OME (installed six months ago), BFG all terrain 10.5x33 (installed in November)
Original bumper and ski racks included in sale.
Very solid ride and always been reliable.
I've kept up with all maintence and changed fluids routinely.
Only things that need attention are to put new struts on back hatch door and minor oil leak from main seal, I just haven't had the time to attend to it.

This is a one of a kind 1985 FJ60 Land Cruiser. Not a single nut or bolt was untouched on this completely custom vehicle. The truck was outfitted with a rebuilt Chevy 6.0L Vortec with over 400 HP, a new H55F Toyota 5 speed transmission, a FJ80 full float with E-lock rear-end, 4 wheel disk brakes, Old Man Emu suspension lift and completely custom Corbeau interior. These trucks are extremely capable off road vehicles, but are equally comfortable taking the kids to soccer practice.
