The History of this FJ60 is as follows, the original owner purchased it new from Mike Calvert Toyota in Houston, Texas. He then moved to Florida in 1992 where he then drove it up until 2000. It's a California-registered diesel Land Cruiser. It was converted to diesel back before it became virtually impossible to do so in California. It is also registered in Belize, and I have the Belizean title license plates, and import documentation.

It’s an Automatic.
It has two stuck valves and I cannot free them. I have the valve cover off and the rockers and they are all free and clear but two valves will not come loose. I have the spring and the retainer and keeper off, but the valve is too low for me to reassemble it. It probably needs a new or rebuilt head / engine. It is all original. It’s an automatic.
I just put in a new gas tank, fuel pump, fuel pump bracket, fuel filter, starter...

I am selling my 1987 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60. It has the original 2F engine and 4 speed manual trans. 153,000 miles and going up as I drive.
I purchased it in FL from a guy who spoke little English. I had a Long Range America 40 gallon tank added. The starter went out so I had that replaced. Put a new battery and terminals as well. I had a new thermostat and housing added. De-smog done properly with JIM C pulley. Transfer case gasket and some drivetrain seals replaced. Brand new Denso AC compressor done with R134. All fluids changed. Oil pan gasket done. Lots of other work was done to make it a reliable daily driver. One small rust spot on the rear window I will show a pic of. Other than that, it does not have rust...
Hey all- for sale is my 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. Runs and drives great. Really clean with little to no rust. Sad to let it go but it's not my daily driver and I need to buy a new family vehicle.
I bought this a couple of years ago thinking I would have more time (and money) to work on it and do some upgrades but life got in the way, and as I'm pretty green with mechanical skills, anything I do takes way longer than it might for someone who knows what they're doing. As such, I end up paying others to do it which is....expensive to say the least. That and the fact we have a baby on the way means I need to get something a little more "safe" and practical.

For sale is my 1989 Fj62, overall a nice vehicle. As with all East coast trucks it has some rust, most of which is confined to the bottoms of the rear quarter panels as shown in the pictures. Mileage is approximately 181,286. Upgrades include Old Man Emu Heavy suspension kit: New springs, bushings, shackles, shocks, U-bolts, and a U-bolt reversal kit on the rear axle. Previous owner preformed rust repair and frame reinforcement on the rear section of the frame. The rear axle, rearmost portion of the frame and select areas on the front of the frame and front axle have been coated in POR-15. I'm asking $8,200 OBO.
