I have a truck, bought in 2007 with the intentions of using with an Avion. I have NOT done any work on it. I know NOTHING about trucks, I just like the aesthetic of this truck and ENJOYED driving it around town esp in snow (soooo infrequent here in Atlanta GA).
May move after pandemic outside US. Would like to find a home for this beauty.
It is in good condition considering year and fact that nothing has been done by myself - flaws in the interior as well as exterior - cracked dashboard, crack on windshield, little rust on top where water collects above windows. Virtually no rust around wheels or bottom underneath truck. I can take additional pics and send.

For sale 2nd owner, rust free and accident free, garage kept Arizona 1988 FJ62. I bought this LC about 17 years ago from the original owner who lived in Phoenix. It sat in my garage for about 10 years as I collected parts. Life and other projects seemed to always get in the way.
This FJ is stock original except for the LQ9 (LS) out of a 2005 Escalade that met a untimely demise with only 1500 (verified) miles on the engine. The transmission is a NEW (not rebuilt) '02 NV4500 that I stumbled upon. It attaches to the original split case TC that has all new TOYOTA gears, bearings and everything else.

Ugh this post rips my heart out but the reality of needing a truck to work on my house outweigh my desire to own my dream cruiser -- so time to pass this dream boat on to someone else. My goal this past year was to baseline her and get her ready for all the "fun things" but first needed her mechanically sound. At this point pretty much have done that the only last thing I was going to do was convert back from the electronic fuel pump to the factory mechanical pump but haven't gotten around to that.

Throwing this out there - have had this truck for a few years, driven it around the country, but now have moved on and it mostly stays parked. Previous owner did a multi year Mexico trip. It's probably not a great candidate if you want a perfect truck, but if you want something you dont have to worry about scratching, it fits the bill.
Driveline: Stock engine, new head and injectors by Scroggins Machine of Houston Texas. H55f swap by Iron Pig off road. New fan & clutch. Axles regeared to 4.56. Could use a tune up/going over, slight hesitation when cold, it has only driven 100 miles in past two years.
Suspension: OME front springs, Deaver custom rear, Bilstein 5100's, SOR anti inversion shackles, stainless brake hoses. Chevy style...

Great example of a cruiser that has been loved and well taken care of. Any 31 year old vehicle is going to have a few flaws, and I will outline every issue I know below. Per the vehicle history report I am the 4th owner. From what I have learned the original owner was based in Texas and put a majority of the miles on the truck. 1987 FJ60 complete roller. Looking to trade for a 94-97 FJ80 complete roller. Triple locked is NOT a requirement. Non-rusted frame/components IS a requirement.
Specifics on the 1987 FJ60 roller:
Frame was POR-15'd with body on. Very light surface rust in areas I was unable to reach. OEM bumper brackets cut to accommodate aftermarket bumpers. Can discuss bumpers as part of the trade if necessary but will require the same on your roller or $$. Bumpers are from Trail-Tailor, powder coated flat black, and are simply flawless & beautiful.

This 10/85 Canadian market BJ60 was purchased by me in 2008 and imported and registered in Portland, Oregon, where it still resides. The body and frame both have rust issues. This truck would be best as a parts truck, donor, or trail rig.
Features:
3B diesel engine gets ~20 mpg. Compression was ~420 on all cylinders when last checked. Fires up first glow, glow relay still works. No leaks, leaves the driveway clean.

ARB locked front and rear, compressor mounted under the hood.
less than 200k on the clock, will go up as I drive it.
looking to trade in September/late August. It will have a new clutch and fly wheel as well as rear main seal installed.
If I don't trade it, I'll be driving it cross country to my new home in VA. Yes, its that reliable as it sits.
