Unfortunately after getting out I found that I only had power to one rear wheel even with the locker. I think it’s why I got into the jam I was in
After getting it back to camp a little investigating I found this.

I have a set of spare axles with me but there’s still part of the axle stuck in the the diff.
And it’s been in the high 90s to hot for me.
So all pack up and headed home in the morning.
Ran some very hard trails for full bodied rigs and had a great time.

Bugger. One thing is for sure, those shafts dont live an easy life under your rig.

Curious if you’ll stay the course with 30 spline shafts, or look for avenues to step up to 35 spline?

No spare?

Was that a factory or upgraded axle?

I have a full set of spares, but with a piece of the axle still stuck in the diff I decided to throw in the towel and fix it right in the comfort of my shop.
The spider gears are most likely damaged, at a minimal the diff needs to be pulled and inspected, the housing thoroughly cleaned to make sure there's no metal in there.
I only had one day left and I would have spent it doing the work in 100* heat
