Greetings, been a reader for years and thoroughly enjoy the community here. We had a 1984 FJ60 when I was a kid, but was sold and has been a conversation in their household for the past 30 years. I'm looking for a beige FJ60 to restore for my retired parents. The 45K one was amazing, but a little out of my budget. Thanks, Patrick
MA: 1988 FJ62
Mudders, I have an opportunity I cannot pass up, and in order to free up the cash to take said opportunity, I need to sell something. So my latest FJ62 has to go. I'm not looking to get rich, but only get a fair market value or less. I bought the vehicle about 2.5 years ago and restored it at my family Fab Shop. All body repairs were done properly. Decent repaint of Dune Beige, new wheels, 33 Falken Tires, brakes, wheel bearings, brake pads, 2.5 Tough Dog Lift kit, Fuel pump&filter window and lock Mod done, New Tint, new front drive shaft, New Exhaust from Cats back, but cats removed* All smog equipment still remains. Lots of other little things done as well. I have most of it documented. I drive this vehicles daily. Its not perfect...

Park City, UT: 1989 Toyota FJ62
I have owned this FJ62 since March 1996 so have had it for 25 of its 32 years. The truck is mostly stock and has been garage kept but it has been used and has wear after 32 years of service. Here are the details and hopefully I don't butcher inserting the pics. Price 17.8k Good Mostly stock (exception suspension OME 2” lift kit) Mechanically sound Mostly rust free, straight body, and frame Interior in above average condition for an 89 FJ62 All electrical components function as they did when purchased Bad - I have tried to capture all the bad in the pics below so no surprises Rust in some common FJ 62 areas will need to be addressed before they get out of control. Exhaust is still good but probably only a few years left in it...

1988 toyota landcruiser
Got a classic Toyota landcruiser, has 200,000, automatic. Has a spring lift with 37x12.50x17 tires. The axles have been regeared to 4.88 for the lift and all axle bearing and seals were replacedat the time. Has the original inline 6 engine and tranny. Fuel pump went out and was park for a while on. It does have a few small rust spots but over condition is solid. Would make a great vehicle to restore. Interested in trading for a 4 door jeep wrangler preferably a rubicon. Or possibly a nice Toyota Tacoma 4x4. $18,000 nego.
This really pains me to do this but i'm going to need something that's more suited for longer drives. Purchased this truck from another MUD member (@88red) and he did the LS swap along with restoring the frame. You can view his excellent work here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/3yEXJ7v5PUGB5ewb6 ...and here's what was done to the frame: Frame was thoroughly cleaned, primed and painted. The notorious rear c-channels replaced, and rust on the rear cross member was cut out and new steel welded. No other significant frame rust or damage is present. More information can also be found at the original for sale thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/1988-fj62-5-3vortec-swap-maryland-sold.1100392/ Details: 5.3 LS1 V8 swap. Motor is from a...

Burnt titled rolling fj60 parts truck
I figured I'd list this before parting it out This isn't for everyone, maybe the guy who's got several 60s, or needs a rust free titled frame, etc It rolls freely and steers easily The roof is warped, as are the rear quarters, but the rest of the body seems straight, especially the upper and lower tailgate. It appears to be cancer free, I believe the hatch, tailgate, and rear wheel wells will make someone's day It was lightly wrecked, and was going to be an engine donor for a very clean 60 before the unfortunate house fire. Everyone has an opinion on fire and metal, I personally have used power train components from burnt trucks after resealing, I would happily use sections of sheet metal for rust repairs, but wouldn't trust the...
Budget 15-22k: wanting either 60 or 62 with a great condition frame. Some body rust is fine or interior that needs work. Would like one that runs well as I’m looking to nearly daily drive (some work needed is fine). Located in FL but will travel. Let me know if you have something or find something!

Sonoma,CA 1988 HZt-62 California registered diesel!
Hello all! I offer for sale my 1988 HZt-62 here in lovely and scenic Sonoma, CA. This survivor started life as a plain ol 1988 FJ62 and lived most of it's life in the California desert. I purchased this truck as a non-running candidate for a diesel swap. Body is straight and has no rust. Frame is straight and has no rust. There are a few bumps and bruises, but nothing that jumps out. I've been told it's "original condition and pretty damn straight" by a body guy. The white paint hides the bumps and bruises pretty good. Most of the interior has been upgraded for comfort and functionality. New carpet throughout. The motor came from a canadian Mud member, originally a japanese market 1HZ that had been upgraded with a turbo and ceramic...
