1982 FJ60 - Restored Sky Blue Metallic - SW Florida
Hi all, It's time to pass on my 1982 FJ60 with ~212k miles. A little background: The vehicle spent 34 years on the west coast (California 1982-2002; Oregon 2002-2016) before I acquired it 5 years ago (2016). I had it restored in New York and briefly listed it for sale in NY before changing my mind and taking her with me to Florida where it's been since 2016. Here's that listing showing some photos of it's original condition, it was mostly rust free with an impeccable frame and straight body: 82 Blue FJ60 NYC In 2020 I had the vehicle refreshed\restored again, to address some surface rust that appeared on the rear drip rails. Both sides of the rear drip rails were cut out and expertly replaced with completely clean metal from an...

'89 FJ62 For Sale $6K No Engine! Mechanic/restoration vehicle. Has surface rust.
I am selling my FJ62 with 165K miles. Bought as a level 2 from Jonathan Ward in 1999. I live at the beach in San Francisco and the salt air has taken it's toll on the body, including pictures. CA car, frame is solid. Engine blown, no core. Transmission was rebuilt at 160K. OME 2.5 medium lift, ARB bull bar. Not certain if this is the correct section to post in? Or parts? Please advise before i upload pictures? Can't afford to restore the body and CA wont let me drop a simple V8 in her. Love this truck but COVID has wrecked my finances.
Hey all, Edit: I found a 62 so not longer in the market. I am looking for a rust free(ish) FJ62 , possibly a 60. I am not looking to flip anything, more of a project. I have been a LC fan for a long time, I've owned 2 FJ62 (yeah, I should have kept!!), and a few other ones. I don't have any experience with body work and don't have the tools to do it. I am, however, a decent parts changer, so mechanical issues are a plus. Looking for something less than $18k. Let me know!! I live in Pa and will pay for shipping. Thanks, Jeff
Northern California. 1989 FJ62 Very Clean and Original California Rig
Hello Friends, I hope my message finds all of you doing well and in good spirit. I have owned this beautiful rig since 2009, and never thought I would decide to part ways with it. I need something more travel friendly for the family. This is an original California car, purchased by the original owner in Sacramento, CA. This rig has ZERO rust on it and a straight body, just a few small dings that are hardly noticeable. I have invested about $16K - $18K into it. The roof rack is brand new, have not put a single thing on top, it's made by Front Runner with a Jerry Can tray. I purchased the car in 2009 with about 179,000 and I immediately had my good buddy (Toyota Mechanic) rebuild the engine; full cylinder head job, piston rings, and so...

(Not Mine)(Dealership) 1989 Silver 5-speed RHD Highroof HJ60
Since I spend entirely too much time perusing the various car selling sights looking at old Japanese 4x4's, I sometimes come across what I think are some pretty interesting finds. This, IMO, is one of them: a (at least based on the photos) really nice high-roof HJ60 at a used car dealer just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, complete with a proper 5 speed, 3 pedal gearbox. Oh, and also, inexplicably, an aftermarket bucket seat in the front passenger position. Would love to know the story behind that! Now, why this dealer has what appears to be rather clean, 1989 JDM high-roof diesel Land Cruiser on their lot that mostly comprises of "normal" used cars, I couldn't say, but if it's as nice as their photos make it look and it's...
Whitefish, MT, 1989 HJ60 high roof

Had service lights bolted to the rear part of the roof while in Japan. Engine runs great. Two new batteries. New 24v Bluetooth head unit, needs speakers. Needs speedo cable replaced, new one is included. $13000 obo. Can DM photos upon request. Located in Whitefish, Montana.
Hey, I'm new here, but I've seen some others post and get some decent responses, so I thought I'd give it a try. I am looking for a southwest fj62 (I am in LA) preferably under $20k, but that could be pushed for the right car. White or grey would be nice and mostly rust free and mechanically sound. Ideally this will be a daily ready car (obviously mostly local and the occasional road trip/camping trip). I do not mind minor cosmetic or interior work, It does not need to be perfect by any means, but rather a platform for me to be able clean up and slowly work on over time. Some background... I previously drove a 2007 Sequoia that was unfortunately totaled by a drunk driver one night while parked on the street. Although not the greatest...
Calabasa, Ca: 1988 FJ62 Frame off restoration. AKA The Gold Surfer
Hey guys, I am selling a 1988 FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser for a friend in Southern California. It’s a beauty that has been through a frame-off restoration with a previous owner. It drives amazing and gets plenty of thumbs up along the way. It came from Japan straight to Florida where it has lived most of its life until the last couple of years. We have the original paperwork and warranty that came with the truck from the original buyer who traded in his Mazda in July of 1988 for this sweet 62. (Seems like he makes good decisions.) Along with all the paperwork from the service and goodies, it has received here in Southern California. When the current owner bought it, none of the smog stuff was intake, so the first thing he did was track...
Houston, TX: 1985 FJ60 - w/ Rebuilt Engine
Hey folks, I haven't posted much on here. But, the forums have been a great learning experience for me. And who doesn't love looking at other folks' trucks?!?! Anyway, I always wanted an FJ60. In 2015, I had some cash burning a hole in my pocket and I decided to buy one. I spent several months looking for the right one. I found this one in San Antonio, purchased it, and shipped it (I lived in Alabama at the time). Very soon after, I moved to Houston - this was my daily commuter. This Land Cruiser started its life in California and moved to Texas to its second owner. I am the third owner and now, sad to see it go. Unfortunately, I am moving, don't want to take it with me, and would like to pass on the dream of owning this great vehicle...
