im selling this cause i have an fj60 and need money for school. body is rust free, ther are a few dings but no big dents. some of the clear coat is wearing off on hood and roof. driver seat is torn but im trying to get that fixed. few plastic things broke on inside all easy fixed im just not in town to work on it. the rest of seats headliner and carpet are good it has manual windows and locks, this is correct, this one was built in first few months before pwr windows and locks became standard equipment. has aussie style sliding rear windows with screens in them. Nearly new bfg a/t 31x10.50
everything is in place under hood and motor runs very good.

'84 3B diesel, 5 speed. 210k on the body and frame (no rust!) and 225k on the engine/transmission. Changed seals and gaskets before installation but did not fully rebuild. Roof rack, 33" Mud King tires, 5" lift, herculiner in rear, leather front seats, grab bar, CB with firestick antenna, dual marine batteries, aux. fuse panel, "wilson switch" manual glowplug system, JVC CD player, new JBL speakers... had been running on 100% BioDiesel from May through November, then switched to B75 for temperature reasons.
Known issues: shackle angle on front leaf springs is wrong. T-case rear output seal bad. Have spare on hand, haven't gotten around to swapping it. Tach is intermittent. Replaced pick-up but issue wasn't resolved. Needs new seal at...

I have an '88 FJ62 that is a great truck with a bad engine:frown: . It needs new head gaskets, altenator, and a patch in the radiator. We are moving and I don't have time nor the money to deal with these things myself.

I don't know what to do just yet. I have an '87 FJ60 project that I do not have time for. Body has only 90k. What I have in it is a '98 vortec 350 with 38k miles, new NV4500, and new adapters, 38mm splitcase, FF rear with discs, Howell harness and fuel pump, custom $500 radiator. It needs the t- case assembled( all new bearings and gaskets included), harness installed, driveshafts made. Time. There is over 16K invested (yeah, I know). I would hate to part out such a beautiful vehicle, but I doubt I can get much as I want seeing some done vehicles for $12k. I would like to at least get $10,000 or trade for a non project. Well, I bought this with the intention of a mild build. I love the truck. Problem is, I didn't ask my wife about it before buying. :crybaby: Long story short, it has to go.

I have a 1981 FJ60 that has tons of good parts for sale in Spokane, WA. I just lost my extra storage fot this truck. This truck is not complete. It includes a running solid 2F, front and rear axles, the split t-case, the transmission. The interior is in decent shape and the dash is perfect. What is missing so far is the front clip(body parts) and the rear windows. I am very motivated to sell this truck and can assist with loading it onto a trailer. I have a title in hand. The frame on this truck is very clean. Much of the body parts are still in good shape. Perfect doors. Rear lid is rusted through and fender lips are rusted through.
This might be perfect for those Canadians whose BJ frames have rusted out.

She's been babied by myself and treated to a few times at the Cruiser Spa for tune up, valve adjustment, oil changes every 3000 miles religiously and a couple modern upgrades.
List of things done and added:
- 4 Runner Calipers on front, new rotors, pads and lines bled / new shoes and adjustment on rear / (Done by POSER)
- All bearings repacked at time of brake install.
- Full tune up: Plugs, wires, belts, distributor cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, thermostat, radiator flush, tranny flush, both diffs changed(oil)...all at 155k
- Valve adjustment and steam...

I call this truck a “starter kit” because it is nearly all original, and has not been modified from stock ever. So, it could be “restored” to be a classic ‘Cruiser, or it could be upgraded for serious off-roading/rock-crawling/expeditioning, depending on your preference. Whichever you choose, you are getting a rare ‘Cruiser that has been babied, and has rarely, if ever been taken off-road or used for towing, and has NO RUST or body deterioration. I hear these are getting very hard to find in this condition. (My other ‘Cruiser, a diesel 60, certainly has its fair share of rust and other body challenges...)

1985 Toyota Landcruiser $3,000. Brunswick, ME. Great shape all around. Exterior is silver with clearcoat and in great shape. Interior is original fabric and in excellent condition. Small rip in drivers seat, but I have a factory new seat cover ($250.00) to replace it. Transfer case was rebuilt appx. 3-4k miles ago and works great in both 4hi and 4lo. When transfer case was out, shop looked and transmission and said it was fine. Engine runs great and starts easily, even in the cold. Tires are in good shape with more than 50% tread remaining. Bad parts: 1. Emergency brake needs to be adjusted. When you pull the handle, it doesn't lock the brakes. 2. Front disc brakes starting to make some noise. Will need brake pads soon, shouldn't be...

Selling an 89 FJ62, 151K miles on the odometer. Two tone blue, a pretty truck. Very nice interior gray interior. Has some rust issues but is a solid truck. Had a $3000 automatic transmission repair a few years ago tranny and drivetrain work great. Truck works fine, has power windows (all work) and power door locks (they work too). Rear and front wipers work, heater is great, has a rear heater too. Brakes and steering good. Truck starts right up every time and runs quite well. Of course it has power brakes and power steering. Tires are 31 x 10.50 BFG all terrains with excellent tread. Has a very slight pull to the right. The suspension may have a slight lift as the truck sits higher and nicer than my stock FJ60 with the same size tires...

Stock vehicle with 245k miles. White over gray. Everything works including the a/c. 2 sets of wheels and tires. New rotors and pads in the front and wheel cylinders in the back. Runs good I drive it to work every day.
Little bit of rust here and there but nothing serious. Driver seat is torn. Shallow dent on the bottom of the front pass door. Windshield has a few stars. Overall a nice old rig. Not so nice you are afraid to drive it and not such a beater its embarassing.
Selling due to the inheritance of a 99 Volvo XC with only 4k, yes 4k miles. :eek:
