Not really affiliated but sorta know this guy and have seen the truck. I used to live in Duxbury, MA and saw this truck around town and met the guy a couple times at talked cruisers for a while. It really is an amazing truck. I would have guessed he'd be selling it for over $10K. Clean as they come and runs perfect. Haven't seen it in a while but it was mint a year and a half ago. He told me it was appraised for more than double what he's asking. Anyway.....

Picked up this cruiser in great shape a couple summers ago and put a lot of time and money into it. It is originally from southern California. As a result, it has been very well preserved. I had wanted one of these classic cruisers for years and have really enjoyed owning this one. We've made frequent trips to the mountains with it and have even taken a 3000 mile cross-country trip in it. It's really a great vehicle, very reliable. I'm VERY short on space and will be for the foreseeable future which makes this quite impractical for me to own. I no longer commute to work, so owning 3 cars is kinda silly...

Well you may need to tow it.....its a good truck.....has some rust in the frame in the rear, I know for a fact it needs a new Cat Convertor....and rear main seal.....I put in a new factory steering pump, and tuned it up a few years back....its just been sitting in my folks driveway and the City thinks its Junk!....little do they know....interior is in decent shape....could be used to part out....it also has a new stereo and speakers.....email me if you're interested....I'll send you pics....carlosgmoreno@sbcglobal.net .....thanks

So I'm looking for an FJ that really wants to be a diesel. Maybe one with a blown engine......it has to be rust free and I would prefer an '85 or later. I am in northern California, but would be willing to go to Nevada for the right FJ.

Well, we bought a '97 so it's time for the 60 to move on to a new home. It runs good and could benefit from a bit of TLC, but I would drive it anywhere tomorrow. She gets alot of "thumbs up", has been a great weekend wheeler, and my overnight camping rig on Nebraska hunting trips.

I am the 3rd owner of this truck, Greg Ashcroft the President of the Olde North State Cruisers was the 2nd owner.
The mileage is unknown on this truck but it runs and drives excellent. I have done general maintenance on the vehicle since I have owned it for about 3 years now. The Original owner gave Greg a huge folder full of receipts and general maintenance on the truck. Greg added to that, as did I.
When I bought it I gutted the interior, vacuumed, cleaned the carpet, and then put it all back in.

Selling my 86 FJ60, too many trucks not enough room. This is a great running truck and quite the buy for the money. Silver in color with a gray interior, interior is very nice, no tears anywhere including headliner and driver seat. Tuffy console which fits perfectly. In-dash CD player that works well. Has the Japanese market inclinometer/clock package, too, and it works. Has a CB radio that works fine. AC blows cold. Windshield replaced about a year ago. Same key fits all locks.
In fact everything works on this truck- wipers on all settings- lo, hi, and intermittent. Rear wiper and washer work, rear heater and rear window defroster work. Front heater blows in all speed ranges. All lights work as they should as do the horns. It...

I just purchased this vehicle in December from a mud member. I had everything gone through 100% and spared no expense to correct any issues I found. I had the transfer case rebuilt, 4x4 solenoid replaced, every fluid changed, pluggs, etc. Since everything has been done it is 100%. I'm out of the country so much, and I am doing a SOA on my FJ60 now, so I don't think I will have time to drive it. I believe the FJ62 is in great shape and would make it across country no problem, interior is great, no rips in the seat not even the drivers side. Sadly the time has come to part with the old girl. I've owned this vehicle for just over a year and a half. Since I purchased it in October of '06 I've put a good bit of time and money into it. I'd love to hold on to it, but its just not a practical DD and I simply can't afford another "play" vehicle.
