I just purchased this vehicle in December from a mud member. I had everything gone through 100% and spared no expense to correct any issues I found. I had the transfer case rebuilt, 4x4 solenoid replaced, every fluid changed, pluggs, etc. Since everything has been done it is 100%. I'm out of the country so much, and I am doing a SOA on my FJ60 now, so I don't think I will have time to drive it. I believe the FJ62 is in great shape and would make it across country no problem, interior is great, no rips in the seat not even the drivers side. Oh, I am currently having any dings and scratches on the vehicle fixed. Tires have life left in them, but will need to be replaced in time. Below is info. from the previous owner. I'll need $9,800 obo to break even, but add the parts up, you'll see that there is much more money invested in this truck than you can imagine. Winch looks as if it's never been used. Ask questions, come drive it, let me know what you think. Thanks I'll be 100% honost on anything you ask.

There are 202,000 miles on this vehicle. The engine was rebuilt around 35,000-40,000 miles ago by the previous owner.

It has:
Really nice in-dash am/fm/xm/cd/mp3 player
10 cd changer
Keyless entry/alarm system (power locks don't work)

ARB Front Bumper
Slee off-road Rear bumper w/ tire carrier
33x12.50r15 BFG Mud-Terrains
15x10 Pacer Aluminum Wheels
New OME Suspension
Full size BFG spare
Quick-Lock locker in the rear
Yakima Roof Racks
Warn 9000 lb winch
Optima Battery
Box of Misc. parts and pieces

Opinions on pricing, I know what I bought it for and what I put into it, I can still come down a little. Also, can take partial trades for items that I might need, in order to bring the price down some. You know what is of value and what's not, so it won't hurt to ask or make an offer.

I'd like to get $9800 obo, however, I can be a little flexible on the price. While I may lose a few hundred here, I may make a few hundred on something else. Just curious as to what people thought of the truck and what it has in conjunction to the price. I think it's well worth it, but then again, I bought it. Not many people want to spend $9k on a 62 series, but you get what you pay for, especially with all the aftermarket accessories, and the overall condition. I know the guy who sold it to me orginally was asking $14,000. I think $14k was a little high, considering I had to take care of some mechanical issues. While I don't need it I still think I got a great deal even with moneyI put in it to have it 100%, so if people think that the price is way off, I will just pull it off the market and sit on it. I love the truck, just figured if I'm never home then I'd let someone else enjoy it. I thought I was going to have some free time, but I'm in the process of buying another house in South America, so things aren't looking good for me ever getting to drive it.

me personally i think the truck looks good and could very well fetch $9.2K with the right person. I think you would get at least that or more with the right buyer on Ebay. One thing i have noticed on this board is that everyone is cheap......lol...

it's a nice rig and if everything is working and runs great you will get what you want for it

Thanks! Does the chit chat section know you snuck out? haha I'd rather not ebay it, just because I'm afraid of who it might end up with. Call me crazy. :flamingo: I may give fleabay a whirl.

lol....Chat lets me out every now and then.

I am 50/50 on Ebay. I have sold two cruisers on ebay and had a great experience doing so - got more than i expected each time and they both went to people that enjoyed Land Cruisers - I felt good giving them the keys knowing they would be in decent hands.

Razor? Is that you?

I am interesetd. Where are you in GA?

Nope not Razor, vehicle is located in Demorest, Georgia 30535. If you want to check it out feel free. Runs and drives great. I haven't gotten the few little dings and chips fixed yet, but if you'd rather me hold off I can instanly knock of $500 that I had set aside for doing it. I'm just a perfectionist and wanted it done ;) Let me know. I'd say I am about 1 hour north of Atlanta, go 85 to 985 past Mall of Georgia then I'm about 30 mins from Buford. Thanks

Are you currently deployed, and if so, does someone here have title? I was f'ing with you on the Razor thing (maybe you didn't catch the joke).

Do you have any more pics? Interior and maybe the bits you were going to have touched up? Can't remember from original sale, but does it have ANY rust?

I'll get you an email out today. I'm about 8 hours ahead, and my internet wasn't working earlier. So, at some point today. Yes, my father has the title. I didn't get the Razor reference haha. Sorry.... Later

No rust, father has title in hand, great truck, can get more pics may take a few days. Thanks Don't know if I said it already, but replaced Water pump with oem, not cheap. Started weeping, so it's good now.

I can also, start pulling parts off for my Red 60 series. If bumpers match, which I think they do, I will pull them off and put them on my 60 series along with the winch. So I can knock a good chunk off the price should someone want a more stock , but beefed up 62 series.

Stock 62 averages $5k, this one is in way better shape than the average 89 FJ62. With the Engine, Trans, bumpers, locker, rims, and overall shape of this truck, it's the best one the money can buy.

beautiful cruiser!! Somebody buy this thing already!!!!:hillbilly:
