Don’t take anything Mrego says too seriously. Houston is a relatively affordable major metro compared to many large U.S. cities, so sometimes people stretch for a high end vehicle as a status symbol, which can lead to a bit of a ‘look down on other vehicles’ mindset. Funny how his conversations often head in that direction. I, for one love all Land Cruisers that’s why I’m here. I’m an all Land Cruiser appreciator.
LOL yes… I’ve had the pleasure of living in the “Midwest” before (just north of the Red River), lots of them types in those parts. The real men out yonder drive Jeeps, aint-no if ands or butts about it, now the wives on the other hand…. Lexus

I'm pretty much the same way with anything Toyota, love them all even down to the prius,

Hahaha...I have that AI Bot blocked so I only see his nonsense if someone comments on it. It is amusing to see he pretends to know my financial situation 😅 a pretty lame and pathetic argument.

I do not know how it is in the "Midwest" but here in Texas country most Jeeps are driven by girls with rubber ducks galore lined up in the dash. They also love the Prado (250 or GX) and Defenders, because of their squareness and looking "tough." After this trend started, they do not really care for the LX or LC (200 or 300) because of their tendency to be rounder.

If you really love all Toyotas, you might want to avoid making fun of the round lights on the Prado - which was what triggered my initial comment about the Patriot. Both the square and round options look pretty good to me.

Brand bias depends solely on the region you're in. I just saw a graphic where Ford dominates all sales in overall volume in nearly 80% of the states, overwhelmingly through the middle of the country. Tesla had California and Washington (no surprise there), and Honda had a few states in the Midwest and northeast; everything left was Toyota-dominant, short of a state or two with GM.

Here in Texas, we have it all. Jeep's lifted diesel trucks, Toyota's, Bronco's, and even the Ineos in the major cities where they are sold. I tend to have a bit of brand loyalty when it comes to HD trucks, but I love them all and have owned them all at some point over the years (42 and counting). Once I park my F250 in another 1.5-2 years, I am really struggling to decide what will replace it for a daily. I can see an argument for the 250/GX, a Gladiator, or possibly a Grenadier. No matter how the chips might fall with that decision, I can assure you that I couldn't care less what others' opinions are on the vehicle or what it might say about me to the masses. I stopped caring about what others thought back in my early 30's when I realized that none of it matters lol.

Well said. 👍

Yep. Ford (F-series) is a goliath in the country.

More mocking, huh? That seems to be a common pattern. You might think you’re punching down with those comments, but all it really shows is the importance of character over possessions.

Oh wowsers
No assumptions were made on your finances only your gender.

Back to the topic at hand, the square VRs round headlights is a debate amongst Toyota enthusiasts (hence the joke)
