SOLD! Thanks to all I just purchased another 80 so im selling my 62 $1,000.00 The truck has rust along the roof, on the doors and the front quater panels. It is mechanically sound and will go anywhere. The interior is clean the dash has some cracks the the radio does not work. The tranny shifts smoothly the tires are in good shape. This truck is currently my daily driver. The AC blows cold. All the power power options work just fine. The 4WD woks excellent also. Come and get it. Before my teenager gets any ideas. Back in July I bought this FJ60 from the original owner with the intent of building it into a family trail rig. It seams I bit off more than I can chew. This was the owners DD from when he drove it off the lot in 83 until 1999. In 1999 he parked it and was expecting his daughter to start driving it in the next yr or so. Well, she didn't like driving a standard so it just sat there under the tree line on the edge of there horse pasture. It has the 2F I-6, 4spd. They said that everything worked perfectly when they parked it. It has AC and heat. No power windows or locks. Exterior: Along the pinch weld on the rockers. Surface rust Above the rear wheel wells. '88 Blue FJ62 in AL with 143k - $900 I don't really want to but I'm putting my Blue 62. I have that and a MR2 and I have to get rid of one of them. I'm advertising both, so I'll drive the one that doesn't sell. Anyway the detail. The Blue Box has 143.5k and is all stock except for 32 x 11.50 Dunlop mud tires and Alpine CD radio. Has 2 10" Subs and a 700 watt amp that we can negotiate if you want to keep it. Tires have about 22k on them; they should have about another 5-10k in them. The backs maybe more but the front had a slight toe in so the fronts will need it first or be rotated. The Good: It drives extremely well. My wife and I are missionaries to Liberia, West Africa. Liberia is the country we founded when we set free slaves in the U.S.. It has some of the worst roads in the world. We were looking for an FJ, when we met a group of 26 awesome guys from the LeTourneau University's Auto Club. They said that they would help rebuild an Fj. All we needed to do was to help find one. For about 2-3 months we have looking for one with no luck. I have been missing my old cruiser and decided with the crappy economy now would be the best time to buy a well built truck. I am looking for a fj60 or possably a 80, I will even consider forunner or pickups. I am mainly looking for something that already has the lift and bumpers,and tires, fridge and roof rack would be nice too, I am into the expedition style so it does not need to be pretty .
