Grrrrrrrr. I don't want to do this but times are tough. Here's the quick low-down on my rig. This has been a Montana truck it's whole life and is currently located in Bozeman, Montana. I know both previous owners. Since I purchased it last September (maybe October) I've put maybe a few thousand miles on it and the ODO is now reading 186k. I don't have my receipts with me right now so I'm trying to remember everything I've done to it off the top of my head, I'll update if I missed something. 5 new BFG 33x10.5x15 A/T tires with new 8 spoke Pro-Comp wheels. I am selling my 1989 FJ62. It currently has exactly 124000 miles on it. It is a two owner rig including myself and spent the first 20 years of it's life in southern California. I purchased it all original with no rust and very close to mint condition. I have put a 2" lift on her and 31" tires as well as 15" all black wheels. When I purchased her I also had a custom black leather interior put in along with new door panels and carpet throughout. She just came back from a complete detail at from a dealership and all paint chips have been fixed and rock guards put along the bottom 8" of the entire truck. New radio and speakers as well. Wanted FJ62 Houston Area

Hello All, I am new to the FJ scene and just sold my '08 taco so I can go old skool in a FJ. I am looking preferably for a 62 series so my wife can make use of the automatic tranny. A/C - A must - its going to be my daily driver Interior Condition : decent - I dont expect perfect from a 20 year old vehicle Exterior - no rust buckets or beat to hell in back doors/fenders/bumpers. Preferably rebuilt engine, tranny, t-case or 1 of the above. Modicifications - a bonus , you cant beat the looks of a lifted FJ. I have cash in hand... Let me know who has what. craigslist 1985 Toyota FJ60 Landcruiser, Built, Very Clean

SOLD. The Good: -This truck is 99% rust free, both the body and the chassis. There is one very small spot in the driver side door jam that is a bit deteriorated, but it has not advanced in the four years I've had the truck and it's not even that rusty looking. The frame rails are the cleanest I've ever seen on a vehicle this age. That goes for the body mounts and bushings too... they look new. It's pretty obvious this truck had a frame-off blast and clean at some point, and a new body mount kit put on. Nice 1990 FJ62. Just replaced belts, water pump, air filter, and oil. Adjusted the valves back in spring and set the timing. Exterior is in good shape clear coat has faded on hood and a few scratch and dents but expected on a 20 year old truck. Interior is in great shape just a small tear in the driver seat, and small crack in dash. It has 160000 miles on it. It is original California truck. I have a folder full of service records. Serviced regular. Tires have about 20000 miles on them. 4WD works great. It is not equiped with AC. This thing is a tank. Good for knocking around, fishing, hunting, or going off road. this truck has served me well and is still pulling strong at 202XXX miles. stock 3.73 gearing with 31's. rust in usual places from living in the mountains. smog equipped, clear title with colorado plates. have owned this truck for 4 years ,cold starts in winter no problem, most reliable vehicle i have had. I bought this 60 from a forum member in GA a few months ago and it was my first cruiser and I bought as a daily driver, but I need something with better mileage for my commute (about 40 miles per day). It's running super, dry as a bone, with no mechanical problems at all. Other than what's listed below (work done by PO), I replaced the gas tank, starter, headlights, taillights, window tint, and door speakers. I would drive it anywhere...you won't be dissapointed...just a few minor body/interior blemishes, but mechanically I think it's about as good as it gets. 1985 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60 has a 4 speed manual transmission. 207k on the odometer. This truck has been in Tucson, AZ all of its life, and is my daily driver. The Paint shows its age and is not the original color. There is virtually no rust, only a little surface looks like either a battery blew or there was a corrosive type leak. Body is very straight one door has a good sized dent and the interior is good. Engine run strongs, and I have replaced many things lately. Full tune up, less than 2k miles ago, rebuilt carb, new intake manifold and gasket, 6-1 headers, spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor.
