1969 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40
This is the ultimate wheeling rig, with tube fenders, Chromoly front axles from Bobby Long with Longfields, TBI 350 V8, Turbo 350 Transmission, front and rear lockers, Cast Iron Dana 18 Transfer Case, Bikini Top, wind jammer, custom tool box, HFS ½ inch steel front bumper, cowl protector, cb radio, mp3 stereo, waterproof speakers, the works.
I want 8k for it, or I will part it for the same money. All the parts are worth that or more, but I would rather sell it as one piece.
I honestly would never consider selling it for less than 10k, but I just got into another project and need to unload this rig to make room for another cruiser that I’ll wheel.

1983 FJ40 Land Cruiser...
This truck runs great, I have spoken to the the original owner who drover her off the lot in FT. collins in 1978! It has less than 70K original miles and you can tell from driving it and looking at the drivetrain. The only non-stock parts are the wheels/tires. I sold this truck last year, the owner started some rust repair and then bought 3 more FJ40's that are already done and lost interest in this one. This truck has been sitting in a warehouse for the last year. It has typical colorado style rust but has a very clean frame and low milage. You can drive this truck home anywhere. I will do maint. or mods if you like or $4500 OBO as is. I will toss it on e-bay in a week or so if no one wants it. THANKS 303-816-1108

truck has a fairly new engine, less than 10k on motor. has rv cam, weber(manual choke), tuned headers. has a lot of head work. new timing gears, water pump, oil pump, radiator, clutch, etc.
****enigine is out of my old 79, so it has a rebuilt 2f with power steering****also to be noted, this thing was decked quite a bit and the head reworked a lot, has 9-10/1 compression. 185-190psi per cylinder.****

I ran across a FJ40 at a local car lot. It's a '73 stock +/-. Has the F, 3 speed, front drums. I didn't check it out closely but it appears fairly solid. No hardtop, a roll bar goes with it. It had a fresh paint job. Rear floor of tub was diamondplate. Rear wheel wells had been cut, evidence of having had flares.

1970 FJ40 buggy for sale. Has a highly modified 350 with aluminum intake, torque cam, roller rockers, bored & stroked, stubby headers with single exhaust, a 6x14 K&N, an HEI distributor, and electric fuel pump. There is a 4 core radiator with a Black Magic electric fan.
It has an SM465/NP205 that is twin sticked, mechanical clutch linkage. Also has GM master cylinder and liquid filled Autometer guages.

This 1966 FJ40 is in almost new, almost original condition. You have to see it in person to appreciate the money and love that has gone into this vehicle. Thats right, the time has come. I have owned Colonel Mustard for 7 years. I am hitting the road touring next year and need the cash. Brakes have been rebuilt less than a year ago with reciepts. It runs very very solidly. Starts on one key turn. OWN a PIECE OF HISTORY. There are a few rust spots but nothing that can't be easily remedied. Very few 1982's came into the country. Aside from the brakes I have done all the work on it myseld.

i just bought a hard top and doors for her i still have a full soft top w/doors and a guy who wants to trade me the soft top for a 3" lift its your call as to if u want the lift or the top
it has 33/10.5/15 BFG mts they were brand new with the nubs on them b4 i drove the rig home (from 450 miles away) and i have not put many miles on them since she has been in parked in the garaged while i worked on her...
im getting a new muffler & exhaust this week i replaced the stock exhaust with a header from JT...

Swiss FJ40s that are on the road will not have rusted frames, although this has the typical tub rust. (MFK = Motorized Vechicle Control = inspection = no junk on the road).
This will go for around 6000 Swiss Francs - would be a steal if someone knows how to export/import cheap.

I Finally got my brother convinced to buy a 40 rather than a J**P. And being an obsessed cruiserhead myself I am more excited than he is.
So, what we are looking for is an entry level 1975' - 1983' FJ40 Price range $2500-$3500. Must be within driving range for us which is anywhere in Az., Ca., Co., Id., Nv. NM., Ut., or Wy. Must run. the more stock the better. dont want someones botched project. Rust is OK but the less the better.
If anyone knows of something like this, dont buy it yourself. let me know so my brother can join the club. THanks!

ITEMS ARE FOR SALE WHOLE, AS IS, NOT PARTING OUT. Badly rusted 1974 fj40.
The good:
Cowl is in good shape, wire harness is intact, engine is intact (condition not known)
transmission, and tcase are intact. Frame is rusted, but possibly salvagable. Hood is dented, but repairable. fenders are replacement steel, that have some dings, but are not rusted. top has all glass and fiberglass. Front and rear axels are intact, drum brakes. Also included is a very good 1978 frame. Doors in decent shape (surface rust, windows intact). Three stock wheels, 4 white wagon wheels.
The bad:
Tub is more rust than steel. Top metal is fairly rusty, but may be salvagable with skilled hands. No drive shafts, master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, engin...
