My LX470's headlights look terrible, and are completely fogged up. I see a lot of sellers on ebay selling aftermarket replacments. Has anyone tried these? maybe I will be the guinea pig...

I purchased a full set for both sides from "dreamcity1876" on ebay. The lens looked good and fit well, I ended up replacing both headlight assemblies instead just due to really bad timing on my part. (Trying to do too much before a big trip).

Grabbed the full set from Bell Lexus during a great sale and installed those instead.

Also upgraded to Morimoto kit for lamps and ballast at the same time. It's a huge improvement over stock, and well worth the $$$ spent.

Nice! Time for a quad-projector?

Thanks for the response
so you just replaced your entire assemblies with Lexus parts, right? because to the best of my knowledge the lenses are not available separately
did you go with the plastic ones , or the older glass ones?

I replaced the entire headlight unit with new ones, we had a trip planned and when I pulled out the old ones they ended up needing more work than I had time for.
So I had Bell Lexus quick ship the entire new units and popped them in with the morimoto kit of bulb and ballast. One day I'll actually pull them out again and swap out the projector portion with the morimoto projectors, but to be honest, I was completely happy with the new stock projectors and upgraded morimoto Bulb and Ballast setup.

I wanted the glass lenses, but sourcing was difficult so I just grabbed the plastic ones. There is zero visible difference between the OEM plastic lens and what I got off ebay other than the stamping.

I am using a set from eBay now, boy do they scratch easily. Most def going with glass lenses next time.
