I have 1976 FJ40 frame with a non-running, mildly built Chevy 350 with an Advanced Adaptors bell housing and a Toyota 4 speed tranny and t/c. It has discs on the front and rear, with a 2.5” lift and a shackle reversal. There is also a Saginaw power steering conversion on it. It also has an FJ40 stock roll bar that has a front cage welded on it. It has a big front bumper and nerf bars welded to the frame. It has been sitting for 5 years, but the engine is not frozen. It is sitting on a set of one year old very low mile 33x12.5x15 BFG M/T’s and white wagon wheels. I am not willing to part it as I do not have the room. $1,000.00.

1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with 92,xxx miles that was garaged in a California desert community from 1990-2005. At that time a family member had started some restoration which involved putting the smog equipment back on to pass California smog standard but stopped due to illness. I took over the vehicle in late 2005, I put it on a trailer and brought the vehicle to my home in Orange County California. Due to no time to install the smog equipment my self, I took the vehicle to Jim Dickey automotive in Gardena California who specializes in Land cruisers to have the smog equipment reinstalled at the cost of $2000.00. Bobbed FJ40

I am selling my Bobbed 1974 Yellow and Black 1974 FJ40 that is bobbed to a FJ45 cab. The floor pans Rusted out and the frame is shot. The title and vin's are gone. The powertrain is still in it as well as the driveshafts, etc. The 1974 F.5 has the #1 rod through the side of the block and is missing the carb. The axles are out from under it and sitting next to it. The frame from the cab back is cut off. It needs a frame anyway. I have an extra complete tub with good sheet metal that goes with it. With shipping from the East coast I have $2,200 in just the bobbed FJ40. This does not count what I have in the extra tub. I would like to get $1,000 for the bobbed Fj40 as well as the extra tub. 1970 FJ40 FS in North Carolina for $8,500

1970 all original, rebuilt F engine less that 5K miles, white outside, grey inside with black seats. 3 on the tree, PTO winch, 15" Toyota T100 rims with 31" super swampers, pertronics electronic conversion from points. Looking for FJ40, newb to IH8mud!

NewB to IH8mud. I have worked CJ-7s for years and hated their piecemeal design. Had a buddy in college that had a 78' FJ40 and loved it, after doing my homework I've switched allegiances! Been looking for a FJ for the past couple months, but figured this would be the quickest way to get to all of you guys. Prefer a late 70's - early 80's, but I'm not set on it. Lack of rust on body and running stock engine most important. Don't need a top or doors if absent, I live in Florida and will likely never need them. No emissions here. I've restored a few cars many years ago so I know BS when I see it. I'm not going to trail it, just on dry days around town and to the beach as a back-up vehicle.
