I am still trying to sell my cruiser. I have owned Colonel Mustard for 7 years. I am hitting the road touring next year and need the cash. Brakes have been rebuilt less than a year ago with reciepts. It runs very very solidly. Starts on one key turn. OWN a PIECE OF HISTORY. There are a few rust spots but nothing that can't be easily remedied. Very few 1982's came into the country. Aside from the brakes I have done all the work on it myself.

This is mine. Hate to but have to in order to finish other projects sitting in my garage.
I have a '74 FJ40 that I'm putting up for sale (kids don't have the interest and I don't have the time without family support). The truck is in decent shape - I have completed all the mechanical work, but still needs cosmetics (paint/new seats/rhino lining). I just replaced the clutch. All electrical wiring under the hood (and accessories) were replaced last fall due to an engine fire (started due to a ruptured fuel line - now replaced w/ braided stainless). Here is a basic listing:

1973 FJ40, V-8 Chevy, Toyota 4 speed "SOLD"
Selling an October 72 (73) FJ40. This was built in 96 and has around 10K on the motor and tires. It has a 305 small block Chevy motor with flat top pistons 9.5:1 compression, mild rv cam, quadrajet, HEI ignition. It has a bellhousing adapter to a 78 Landcruiser 4spd trans and transfer. Axles are stock 73 with 4:11 gears and drum brakes. The odometer shows 38k and I don't believe it has flipped more than once. It has the original paint, a steel roll bar, and forward facing rear seats that fold down and forward. It has never been wrecked and has zero bondo. It does have rust in the typical places and should be repaired. It runs and drives great. It has a 2 1/2 inch skyjacker lift with the hydro...

Since we moved from NC to the NW I haven't had the time to finish it. I do drive it and it runs very well the only thing missing is someone with time to finish the Paint on the rear and hard top. it has a new Clutch and many many other things. This vehicle could be painted today and driven or could be worked on and finished...
1973 FJ 40 White Cruiser, all original ride as can be scene in the pics. The vehicle was restored in the mid 1990's.. which can be scene by some of the dated items on the Cruiser. It has a 3" Spring Under, The Shocks are Dick Cepek Race Series 77, but cant find a name on the springs. The Ubolts have skid plates for the washers and bolts. There is also Skid Plate for the Gas Tank, and a Skid Plate under engine area. The Cruiser is truely the cleanest I have ever been in, except for a complete new resto. Every gauge works, every light works, no wiring mess nightmares. The brakes where just completely rebuilt front and rear, with Pads, Cylinders, Lines, etc.

I have a 1977 FJ40 for sale that is in beautiful condition. It features, the larger 2-F motor, disk brakes, 4 speed manual transmission and rear ambulance doors. It has had no body damage and NO RUST present. Basically stock from a mechanical standpoint with aftermarket powersteering unit added. Engine was replaced about 5K miles ago with a NEW, not rebuilt, inline 6 motor. Radiator, belts, hoses, battery all replaced at same time. front disc brakes, Suspension is stock and has 4:11 gears. I have all maintenance and repair receipts and all service history since owned. 59,000 original miles with only 5000 on new engine.

Does not have to be pretty, should be all there as long as it is drivable. Rust not an issue but the frame should be solid.

Its time to sell my 40. I have no time to drive and enjoy it anymore. The truck has a 74 motor in it with the 4 speed transmission. I have recently had the cylinder head machined and all exhaust and intake valves replaced. It has power steering. A HFS 4" suspension with 2.5" extended shackles. Lockright in the rear. 35" ssr radials.
The frame is in very good shape. The body is a little rough around the edges. The drivers floor pan needs to be replaced. I have the replacement from CCOT. The tub needs some work, has rust bubbles around the edges.
I am asking $6000 but make me an offer

I have a 77 FJ40 that is currently my daily driver. We are moving further out of the city and need to get something much more fuel efficient.
We have replaced several parts, to include the alternator, battery, wires and plugs, clutch slave cylinder, oil pan, front and rear brakes, etc. I also have some extra parts.

I am posting this FJ40 feeler post for sale. My good friend owns this FJ40 and has babied this vehicle for years. Take a look at the photos and let me know if there is any interest in buying this FJ40. The owner had asked me to sell this vehicle for him as he has very little time to deal with selling it at this time. It has 59000 original miles and it is in immaculate condition. As you can see, it has a warn winch on front and has safari racks. He says it also has a powersteering unit which is aftermarket. I am authorized to sell this for him and have clear and transferable title. It runs beautifully with the original inline 6 motor. Let me know if you are interested and throw a price my way...:)
I hate to get rid of my FJ40 but I have to many toys and the wife says that some must go. Vehicle originally from California. Frame in great shape. Minor rust spots under back gate and under passenger door. I know there was another member of this forum that had looked at it and said I should post it up here. I am would like $3000.00 for it. It has not been driven but maybe 100 miles in the last 10 years. Has custom six point cage. New softtop. New Battery. New radiator. New water pump. Diamond plate corners.

Feeler for my '69 FJ40. I am having a tough time deciding whether or not I really should sell, but if you are looking for something lets talk and see what we come up with. Details: Clean-little rust runs well 1969 FJ40. Front disc conversion w/marlin knuckle rebuild kit, rebuilt F motor w/some upgrades-electric fuel pump, new oem dist. alt. etc. New wiring harness, tires, gigantic 2" lift..conferr shackles. Etc. Good mostly stock vehicle with nothing cut/altered. Good starting point for someone looking to finish/customize. In other words you won't have to do too much to make it your own. Want $5700ish. Springover lift, Saginaw power steering, 33" BFG mud terrains (80%) with brand new spare, disc brakes in the front, Buick 231 V6, runs good and it is recently SMOGGED, on board air with nerf bar tank for airing up tires, ARB locker in the front, lockright in the rear (i think), currently has the bikini top on but I have the hard top with ambulance doors (no rust), soft doors and soft top (missing some of the hardware) This cruiser has the stock 4 speed transmission and stock gears.
