I've been talking to Frank @ Yodateq and he offered a 20% code: "SOCAL100S20" to get 20% off. I don't have the gullwings personally yet, but I plan on getting a set.

He said people can use that code to get a discount. Yea, gullwings aren't the cheapest thing, but every bit helps. Apparently he's offering no tax and shipping if you're in SoCal and attend the SoCal 100s + SoCal Landcruisers (SCLC) meet this Saturday, on top of the 20% off. Full disclosure, I started a FB group "SoCal 100s" (well, Instagram page and sticker site too) so he created that code for us to use.

I think these are really popular with the 80-series crowd. Personally, I'm getting kinda sick of opening my swingouts just to access stuff from the back.

Damn! $2k! There’s got to be cheaper options out there.

Ok, I see the price appears to be for both sides. I think if I got those I’d only do 1 side.

There are cheaper options...until you add in shipping and tariff on the Aussie ones.

I was going to do Emuwings and I only wanted one side too, but after the fees buying the other side was not much added cost. These things really spiked in price the last few years. Also, Emuwings require trimming of the interior panels.

Leaning towards the YodaTeq wings, trying to get past the logo on the outside, seems trivial but just personal preference. I guess you can get them logo free but then there are still holes there. Maybe they can be filled in. Probably my best option.

With the 20% discount the YodaTeqs aren't that bad. Wish they sold them per side instead of both.

I'm with you on the logo. I think manufacturers/fabricators often forget we don't work for their company - we don't want to promote the brand as much as they do.

Maybe the obtrusive badge is to distract us from the lumpy finish?

Yeah...I saw that too. But I also did not see that on any of the YT videos on these so maybe a one off? I know I wouldn't be happy receiving it like that.

The only other option I have seen is

These are carried by some US distributors but unfortunately they are being revised with no ETA.

Yodateq responded -

These are the options for the badging below. Looks like there is two little spots where the badge normally goes on the badge-less version. To me, the badging is fine. Guys with 100 stickers on their windows shouldn't have any problem with a small badge here.

The little bulge we saw earlier was from a prototype apparently. It's not present in any of the pictures below.

Also, it looks like they only sell in sets at the moment.

Anyhow, the fact it comes with molle panels is a plus. Right now I have Victory4x4 interior molle panels and it makes a ton of noise in my rig. Super annoying.

i have built a set for my GX theres a ton of R&D to get them to seal properly once you get that mastered the rest is just hardware, IMHO they are overpriced but they are also a rare bird. the quality has really come up since the first set i saw

OK, just installed mine. Some notes.

They come assembled except for the gas strut. Not sure if this is good or bad but if the frame was separate like in the video you would have to install the “window” after the fact but…

…the urethane gets EVERYWHERE. I consider myself pretty meticulous and I had to change gloves a lot just to not get any on the finished portion.

Use painters tape prior to applying the primer, and have a rag to catch any that drips. It comes out fast. Take off the tape prior to applying the urethane. This isn’t mentioned in the video but they did it and I missed that detail. Now I have to dig out tape, not thrilled about that. It isn’t much but now it looks bad.

There are no instructions, I’m guessing they want you to watch the video on YT.

The trim pieces don’t really cover well.

Get an electric caulk gun.

The urethane kit is available on ebay for a very good price.
