I also re-purposed and re-installed the dome light switch as my new Bluetooth amp’s remote switch. The new amp gets switched power from the fuse panel and hides in the glovebox.

Yup. Skeet range. It’s humbling. I’m using a 30” shoulder howitzer in 12ga and I get free “how to shoot” lessons from guys shooting 25/25 using a .410..Pretty sure it’s some kinda voodoo dark magic.

I had to mow with the brush hog this morning, to clear my 200-yard rifle range. We’ve had a lot of rain this year, and the grass, scrub oaks, and tamarisk is all growing like mad.

Cool. I’m a novice with my BT-99. I’m usually at the 100 yard bench, testing & evaluating my hand loads.

It’s just a $53 Pyle Marine amp. It came with its own inline fuse and some connectors. Not a bad deal at all. I made a subharness for the switch and power.

Wrapped up the majority of a desmog to reveal a leaky intake gasket after the test drive. (Driver quality, I’m not taking responsibility for the extra wiring and train horns.)

Well, after only about 30 years I finally decided to rebuild those leaky knuckles. It wasn’t a difficult job but it was as messy as everybody said it would be. That YouTube video I watched only took 28 minutes but It took me about ten days to complete the job. What’s with that!? I’m guessing this was both the first and last time I’ll need to tackle this job.
