If it’s of interest, I just run the stock spacer under the sniper with no heat shield and I don’t see any issues with it. I also have hard lines all the way to the sniper. But mine is also an F engine/intake with no bolt provisions for the heat shield.
Ya I had a old 2f out of an fj60, that had and exhaust manifold that I rebuilt and put a 77 fj40 intake and all new hardware. That's probably what I'll do tbh

Among other things, I've finally found the right coolant hoses and clamps. 6th time is a charm, right?:frown:

Replaced my original 76 radiator with a very pretty aluminum 3 row today. Blew a big hole in the OG radiator a few weeks ago and it is time to retire it. New one weighs half as much. It's almost too shiny for my grubby engine compartment. Now to figure out my ignition issue and get back on the road.

Thats what I was thinking! I have seen some fleebay specials for 4 for 550$ with hub caps too. city racer has 16 inch painted ones for 1400 maybe thats it? But I think that is actually 5 wheels and its already painted in oem gray.
Yeah, that's it. And people buy them. I don't know. This one is $60. Solid ones are $90. If someone out there can stamp out steel wheels and sell them for 60 bucks, then it is a $60 wheel. You can call it the Land Cruiser Premium, the money is no object syndrome, or the sign of the times. But, no matter what you call it, it is still an overpriced $60 wheel.

$600 for a whole set. Hmm. I am in a unique area where those $100 custom cut windshields everyone here talks about are $500.

I was thinking of getting the 70 series 16 inch wheels. If you get lucky, some dealers have them on sale for less than $150

Did the same this spring and what a difference in cooling capacity, very pleased after 80+ days well north of 100 this summer.

Yup. I actually work for the bridge in Maintenance. I was at our Cape May Ferry site today.
When my son graduated from high school he got a job at the Cape May ferry terminal working for the DRBA. Small world!

I did as well... although I etched then painted mine black (just personal preference). I had previously installed a 4 row after mkt brass radiator that would overheat many times when outside temps were above 90deg. With the aluminum, temps usually run below 200deg, although it sometimes still creeps up near 210 on really hot days with the a/c cranked (the a/c evaporator pre-heats the air entering the radiator so it loses efficiency)

Got my windshield all in one piece Thanks Cruiser Corps and Fed Ex . Having trouble with the top corners so taking a brake heading up north till Monday and then try again just waiting on my coil with ballast resistor from Toyota Matt and a fuseable link from Coolerman so I can fire it up finally

Cute bezel.

I haven't done any macrame since I was 8. But I got some paracord and made some door pulls. I ordered red and received something between red and orange.
