Had to retire the original wipers. I couldn’t get trico rainguard wipers in 13”, so the guy at O’rileys took the clips off of the tricks and but them on some 13” Bosch and we called it good.. lol the computer at O’rileys said my cruiser took 15”.. no sir. That hits the seal..

Nice conversion. Did mine a bit ago too. Did you decrease the height of the f250 shock towers also? I did, but only took an inch out. When bolting back together noticed that I still needed to clearance the fenders half an inch..

Installed year appropriate winkers. I liked the early 70s looks, but these are correct.
Also installed castor shims. Steering is better for sure.

Oh and tossed in some LED dash bulbs.... waaay better!!

I have a few memories about jet planes.
Another one was in the early 50's when an aunt and uncle of mine owned a motel on Kellogg Ave. in Wichita Ks. not far from Boeing.
The B52's and 47's landing approach was right over the motel.
They would come in so low and slow that you could count the rivets on the plane's fuselage and see the pilots faces.
They were so big it was amazing they even flew.
I also wondered how the motel got any business with those big noisy things going over head.

This last Monday in Death Valley

Of course by the time I got my camera out...

Since we're on airplanes. Back in the early 80's I was on a airline flight in the western USA. I happened to look out the window and way below us was a B-1 bomber being refueled by a KC-135.

I realize has little or nothing to do with Yotas, let alone 40's, but I snapped these a few years ago. I've tons & tons of pics like this (and of really attractive women too). Lots of magazine covers. ... All I need now is a pretty pic of my 40 put back together !!! ... Actually, that's ALL I WANT - is it put back together - and an attractive woman & me driving her up a mountainside !!!

Any chance you'd be willing to share the STL file for this? for my own personal use only of course. My radio hole has been gaping at me for far to long

Great perspective in this shot

Nice, what was the difference in them?

The original factory paint (531) is (only) on the inner face of the hood hook. The rest of the Toyota world is on the swatch plate on the right (532). Our 531 is a 1975 color. It appears to have a lighter value, and a greener hue than the later 532 in real daylight, as well as in the photo.
