Took the 40 out to the 4 Seasons Hotel here in Abu Dhabi last night... my Emirati business partner and I took our wives out in style. =)

Acid flushed heater core and replaced Heater Water Control Valve. Sandblasted and painted heater box. Install tomorrow morning

Found a nice back-up lamp on eBay for my ‘73, with correct lens just in a different turn signal.

Had to tuck the 40 away in the garage for awhile all hooked up to a battery tender. Had knee replacement surgery Tuesday. So when this one heals up gotta do the other one. now my girls are mad they can`t go for their morning ride and walk in the desert.

Took it up to the ski area today, looks like that 16 in.hg vacuum reading is legit.
It hit 70 with ease, had a ton of pep in the lower rpm ranges.

I also swapped in some LED headlights, the verdict is still out on them. I need to adjust them a bit to start with, I keep getting other cars flashing me with their high beams.
What brand are those? Don’t look like the one’s I have.... from City Racer

Don’t you have 33’s in your rig? If you hadn’t corrected the speedo from being off your probably pushing 80 if it was reading 70

It’s possible that I was doing better than 70, traffic never caught up with me, until I backed it off to 60.
The speed limit out here is more of a suggestion.

They were swapped ... however there was a clear lens for those mid years directionals... but... it did not have the Kioto in the center like that ... they looked like the amber ones ... just clear
