@sterling Rancho shocks which I don't like too much. 2-3" shackle reversal lift by Dave Gore @lcwizard. Will probably eventually change my shocks, maybe leaf springs as well. Need to get with Dave one of these days in Miami, AZ

@imyahucklbrry I used Rustoleum Gloss Enamel Smoke Grey for the wheels. Came out great. Was going to use a darker color but when a mud member posted up a pick of a stock extra wheel he had put away out of the sun for probably thirty years the OEM color looked lighter than what I had originally planned on using. I think this color is closer to what the original was.

almost finish my interior for the 45

The dash piece does look very good. White Oak would make a very good wood for use in a LC that might get wet inside. Walnut is another good choice as is mahogany, either African variety like Khaya or Sapele. The wood makes the dash look very fancy.

Put over 600 miles on the 43 this past weekend!

Then I rolled back into town and noticed a strange noise...Notice anything odd about the parking brake backing plate?

Luckily the two missing bolts were in the drum and hadn't fallen out and some lock-tite solved the issue. The other two bolts were barely holding on.

I had one of those bolts sheer in my transfercase...what was even stranger is that there was no sign of the head inside the drum when I opened it up.

Replaced my almost 36 year old front motor mounts with ones from @cruiseroutfit .
We suspected the DS was toast... suspicion confirmed.

We drilled the DS mount for a bolt and used a ear from a poly spring bushing to allow for some flex.

Took my Canadian M101 for a test run behind my new 40 tonight. Pulled it like it wasn't there. My 80 is going to be peeved but I think my 40 is getting the nod for the first camping run of the year!

Got a care package from CityRacer.

Really needed the brake proportioning valve , which I'll install this weekend when I have appropriately aged help.

Went ahead and picked up a couple other things from my wish list - rear gate weather stripping, air cleaner intake hose, sun visors, and LED headlights.

Replaced this hose (dryer exhaust maybe?)

With something that looks a little more at home

Appears doggy approves this message...Lol

Been a while since I have been on here but figured this was worth posting. Finished my rattle can paint job! Sanded down all the rust from it being in upstate New York primed and painted. Now all I have to do when rust peeks through is sand it and throw more of my paint on it. I have about ten cans left over:)
