I just saw those lights in person on a mainline overland canopied tacoma they are serious.

They are. I'm typically not a fan of running dozens of lights. I liked Baja Designs philosphy on the LP9 to allow you to consolidate lights into a single unit. On the custom fab'd bumper I made room to run a third amber LP9 in the future to run lighting duty in dusty situations, but for now this setup is most likely end game for me aside from adding work/camp lights on the roof rack.

The set up is sweet and $$$$$$$ almost $1200 for 2 lights?! YIKES!

Also had to pay to ship and import them to NZ :dead:

If you consider they consolidate 2, maybe 3-4 lights into one, it's still pricey, but all not that bad. :) Also Baja's build quality is second to none IMHO. Only other contender for advanced lighting setup out on the market is Rigid Adapt, but to get similar performance you have to go to a 30" light bar at $1900.

Well finally pulled the trigger and bought /ordered the White Knuckle sliders this morning ! I really wanted them for the cat protection and the rockers too , but was able to justify them to my wife as steps to help her 5' tallness to get in on her side ! ;)

They are priceless after a few trail runs. Just watch that the upturned end on the cat skid doesn't become a hook. I snagged a thumb sized muscadine vine on mine this weekend and ended up pulling a small tree into the road. :steer:

After my buddy reported seeing some "wheel wobble" when we were wheeling a couple weeks ago, I went in and checked my wheel bearings. Yup, pretty loose! Tightened them up and the truck drives a little better now. Hard to diagnose handling issues since every piece of my suspension is a floppy mess. I barely noticed the wobble.

Timely too because my front brake pads were at their last mm or two, which I would not have guessed based on their mileage. Axxis Ultimate pads stop like the dickens, but wear and dust like the dickens too. The cruiser weighs about 3 times as much as the last vehicle I put them on

@RFB Post back up after install with your impressions on noise reduction. I've got a lot of wind noise coming through the doors, and this is on the list.

whenever I get in the truck my shoulder rubs the inside stripping and its worn a piece away and it whistles, so other than that it was quiet, but I will indeed post up after.
