LOL!

I am always listening to my engine, tranny, axles, everything on my rig.

It's slowly moved it's way up on my priority list. I can't remember the last trail truck I had a radio in.

I know that feeling. I'll never go without tunes on the trail again.

I'm waiting for the loud "POP" from underside.

What about the sweet duel media player in the 40?

I was wondering if that would be brought up..................................

All wood center console (plywood and 2 x 4s) with 2 crapped out 6s, a head unit with a tape desk, a second head unit with a cd player, a toggle switch to select between the 2, and a stubby rubber dildo antenna. An all inclusive sound system.

I love to see pics of wheelin with the kiddos

I just finished my console/sub box this week and it's nice to have some low end again. Music is one of my joys of driving so it was hard not having some tunes to listen to.

Just buttoned this up a few minutes ago.

Took it for a spin around the block and it's working awesome. I used RayN's write up https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/251286-homebrew-saginaw-ps-pump-installation.html and it helped me see some ideas I hadn't before. I also opened up the restrictor for a bit more flow.

Glad to finally have a leak free pump that I know will hold up for quite a while.

Did you get this pump out of a volvo as well? Did the pulley come off the donor vehicle?

It's a square body Volvo Saginaw pump. I had 2 GM pumps, a buddy had 2 Mopar pumps and they all were narrow belt pulleys. I have the pulley spaced out a bit to line up but I will hopefully rebuild the pulley in the future.

I also was able to use the factory FJ60 pressure hose on this setup.

The pumps are the same. The pulleys are different. If your pulley is the wide GM version, we should be able to make it work.

Ah, good info to know.

I'm jelous of your power steering pump. I don't know what the previous owner of my fj60 meant when he said he had the power steering worked on, because it leaks like crazy and every once in a while makes a whiney noise.
