Took the first drive on new shoes tonight. Zero balance issues until ~80mph. Impressive, as it's a 100lb+ assembly. Got some mild low frequency rumble under 30mph but they're quieter than the KM3 on the highway. Impressive x2.

Moved the links out to the end of the arm, and out one link on the axle side while the tires were off. More loose at speed now. Will get it flexed out to see the F/R balance.

I put the transfer case on a rock for the last time. New armor is in.

Tight fit, but not too tight. Stout enough to jack the whole truck from. Time to wail on it at GSMTR.

About time to have a spare rear DS. It's a twin of the other.. Toyota 4runner DC and 80-series diff-side joint mated up with sch40 pipe.

We’re hitting the rubicon on the 20th you should be with us !!

Made the move to a 100's oil pan. Thanks, George! A few pics for reference. So many little differences that add up to a drastically different lower assembly.

Gained 20% more oil capacity, removed any chance of the pinion ever getting into the pan, and got rid of a siphoning concern that has been nagging at me due to how much 4rnr lower pan had to be cut away.

Choppy choppy. No mas scrubby scrubby.

Got a little process down for qtr panel fixing. Rounded 2x2s and piece of tubing get it straightish in a hurry.

Got lucky and didn't kill the glass below this panel. It was hit before I got the truck, but I leaned the truck on that old damage pretty hard. Expand that bottom photo to check out the nice wave at the top of the glass...gotta pull that one and the fender out...can't open the hood at the moment.

Yup, his was from a more aggressive whack up at windrock. I know where mine happened, and I really didnt expect any damage. There I go thinkin' again.
