My own project is at risk as my insurance company will not insure my shop due to a wood stove I installed. Said if you store a vehicle with gas in the same building as the wood stove, they will not cover it period. I noticed your shop also has a wood stove?
If it would be of any use to you, I can give you a receipt for the harness for the insurance company. We can call it a very valuable piece of wall art that was lost in the fire... Hell if they would cover a shelf why not wall art?

I just did a restro, last year on my cruiser. My insurance company of 20+ years told
me they can't give me full coverage because it's "too old". So now, during the winter
I stay off roads during a storm since it's my only and DD vehicle. And since I don't do
credit cards I can't rent a car if I had an accident.

The comprehensive coverage on an auto policy covers fire, act of God or not.
Appreciate it. My pile of parts needs that coverage. Thanks.

I was just thinking this morning of the discipline you showed in not going into the property sooner. I don’t think I could have waited so long.

The piggie looks sad but still their, the 40 is toast with probably a good cowl and frame-hopefully some solid floor pieces. Looks like a beam fell and killed the rear of the tub. You and your family are safe which is the good part. Thankfully its not the other way around. Sorry for you loss sir.

I thought about changing my signature line but nothing's really changed. I remember a phrase I saw on a co-worker's desk when I was in the military. It's your attitude not your aptitude that will determine your altitude. Nothing's changed, I will still enjoy restoring things and having the satisfaction from that. The time that I took to Tool up to do a project was fun! But to take for my tagline there definitely was a lesson learned. Stick some stupid insurance on your project! Thank you for your kind words again.

All the little details we talked about, I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail at every step of the build. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
