Well, I got my 88 runner with 16X,XXX on the clock. 5 speed, sunroof, power everything, AC not working. From previous owner new timing belt, radiator and H2O pump. It is in really nice shape, has those adjustable seats. This thing is unmodified at all. Stock all the way. The first 1-2" of the front fenders are rusty and repaired badly with bondo by PO. Also the rear quarters are about the same. Still, there is less rust then I see on other 1st gen runners.
It runs nice with plenty of power. I cant live with the combined fuel mileage of 17mpg though. Looking for a good home. Pics on demand, and I will be posting some soon. Red with those stripes still in great shape and grey interior.

I'm looking to sell my girlfriend's 1991 Land Cruiser.
Unfortunately, the front differential and the transmission are broken. The mechanic said it would cost $2400 with parts from a yard and labor, too much for me to consider. The interior is in great , clean condition, and the car runs.
Below is a list of the broken parts:
1. front differential

3. Cracked front windshield
4. Cracked plastic intake into the air filter (this causes the car to almost loose the vacuum created in the air intake, but does not keep the car from running) This part is easily found at a junk yard.

Hi all. I just picked up a Champagne 12/94 80 for the wife's DD. It is in need of a drivers side rear bumper end cap (wraps around to the rear wheel) and could probably stand to have both sides replaced. Does anyone have one or both of these that are just in their way? I'm in hopes someone has upgraded to a Slee, Kaymar or similar aftermarket and still has their good OEM caps (available). Please let me know if you can help. The 80 is very clean except for these caps, so they really stand out as they are. I'll try to post some pics in the coming days. I have an 83 Fj 60 with a new venture 5 speed tranny and a chevy 305 V8.
This truck is sold as is, since it does not have emissions equipment.
I put about 11k into the truck. There is an issue in the fuel system that causes the truck to bog down on hot days or after driving for a while. I have had it in and out of shops, but the only remedy seems to be replacing the wiring harness or the fuel system. I can't afford to put any more money into the truck...

I own a 1998 GMC K1500 Sierra Z-71 Extended Cab pickup with only 72,000 miles and in excellent condition and am interested in trading for a late model FJ40. I am looking for a nice cruiser of equal value (~$11,000 to $12,000) that has either a V8 or newer V6 conversion with fuel injection, p/s, disc brakes, and possibly a 5-speed transmission and a/c (I live in the deep south). Hopefully, at this price, the body will be in very nice condition as well.

Hi, just a heads up for the forum. I will be selling my wifes 1996 FZJ80 soon. It has 87K miles, Blue on grey leather, lockers, fully loaded. We are the second owners and the truck has only been used as a grocery getter. Will post pictures and price in the coming weeks. The cruiser is located in Northern New Jersey. Price is not firm but will be somewhere around $15K.

FYI - there's a white 1997 80 for sale on ebay in Dallas at a Lexus dealer. The motor has a bad main or something and knocks like crazy and has low oil pressure. I don't know what you can do to hide a knock in an engine, but it didn't knock when I drove it, just two days later after an oil change. If you're looking for one, look for a different one.
