Need a drive train for my 1971 FJ40. Identified a 1KZ-TE engine with transmission and transfer case. I could with time fabricate engine mounts and transmission cross member but probably better use of my time to pay a professional.

Look up Primo Motorsports in Santa Ana. Good fabricator and mechanic, very familiar with FJ40’s. Unsure if they are familiar with the diesel stuff though.
Another place to consider is Class Act Fabrication in Riverside. He is young and hungry. Mostly specializes in tube chassis buggies, but can handle anything off-road fabrication related and does VERY nice work. I think he is just a fabricator though, you’d be on your own for the mechanical work.
