This is a 85 FJ60 that I bought from a friend 5ish years ago. It’s originally from Victoria TX so lived its life here in the south. It just went live on BAT this morning so will see what it does :). Toying with the idea of selling my fj60. It ran rough when I got it with massive vacuum leaks. I starting pulling off all of the smog related stuff as I was going to install a aftermarket efi system and since then have dedicated my time on other projects. Around 230k miles on it. Interior is in rather good shape but exterior is rusty and dented here and there. Frame is super solid with no concerning rust only surface. Have service records dating back into the late 80s along with the original window sticker. Passenger front door and rear quarters have the worst of the rust. For this crowd the most pertinent bit of info is the frame is pretty much junked. Couple feeble patch attempts here and there. I have put 20,000+ miles on it this way with no further degradation. Body has rust as well.

For sale is my 1984 Fj60. This cruiser has been a labor of love, and has taken my wife and I all over the western US. I’m sad to say goodbye, but we have purchased a new to us URJ200 and have decided that having two built Land Cruisers is just too much.
It is well built and in Impeccable mechanical condition. We have driven this all over the Pacific Northwest, to and from Iowa, back and forth to Albuquerque, and back an forth to Moab more times than I can count. I wouldn’t hesitate to hop in it tomorrow and drive it to Florida. I maintain it very meticulously

Have this fj60 1985. Has lots of rust on body frame is only surface rust. I’ve done some body work but with a baby on the way I want to get some cash instead. I’ve daily driven it to work for a year and have had no issues. Motor runs strong has leaks but oil pressure is strong. The vehicle I have here for sale belonged to me way back when. When I got my diesel, I sold it to my boss, who had it sitting for about 7years. I bought it back with a friend back in '21, who was going to put it back on the road. We took apart the interior and patched the two holes we found in the floor. Then it sat like that until today. The friend is dealing with health issues, the "c" word, and wants/ needs money for obvious reasons.
Now, I have attached the mud thread which shows the work that was done to this truck. While in my possession, it got a bunch of use.

Charles passed away ten years ago and his truck remained in his family until 2 years ago when I acquired it. My plan was to 'repair it to factory' as it needed some work to get it more road worthy. It is what it is and I am offering it as it is. I have driven in approximately 500miles. IT ONLY HAS FRONT BRAKES, I would firmly recommend a trailer pick up. It runs great, has a strong and solid driveline, the interior is respectable and the body is average, maybe a little better, but don't think there isn't rust. I think it a far better than average "project truck" and really just about an average over all example., with the big giant plus of being a diesel w/ 5 speed.
