Summary:
For sale is a rare 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ60 diesel, a true classic in original, unrestored condition. Imported from Japan, this Land Cruiser represents the pinnacle of Toyota’s legendary reliability and ruggedness. With only 170,000 miles, it’s an excellent example of a well-preserved, mechanically sound HJ60.

I purchased it from Japan in 2015 and am the only owner in the US, and the second owner in its lifetime. Paint, interior, and engine are all original. It's accident-free under my ownership, and shows the normal wear you would expect from a vehicle this age.

Condition: This Land Cruiser has been meticulously maintained and is ready for its next adventure. Perfect for collectors, overlanding enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a reliable and iconic off-road vehicle.

Exterior: Paint is in excellent shape for its age, with minor imperfections. There's some oxidation of the paint around the hood. The hood appears newer than the rest of the vehicle. See photos and walk-around video for more detail.
Interior: All original interior, dashboard, and electronics.
Undercarriage: No known rust. Our area does not use salt in the winter. See images and video for more detail.
Engine and drivetrain: Engine runs strong, with smooth shifting. See the videos of cold and warm start.
Upgrades/Extras: I added steel chrome wheels to restore its original appearance.

Why This Land Cruiser?
