I will let go of my beloved Toyota Landcruiser FJ60. I am not in hurry to sell it. I will let go for $10,000.00 (OBO). Everything works except for the horn. AC works, but the clutch makes some sound. During the past summer, I welded and all the rust spots in the frame. Now, it has very solid frame. It only has two rust spots in one quarter panel and one rear passenger door. I have owned it for past ~6 years. It was a daily driver at one point, and then it was coolest Home Depot truck. I have all the records of everything replaced:

it has some rust that needs to be addressed on the body, but it’s all minor. The quote to repair and paint match was $2600. It comes with a new lift hatch to replace the one on it.

Virginia Beach, Virginia.....1988 FJ62....Runs Great. Yes to some rust. Two tone paint Grey/Blue. We are 2nd owner bought it almost new. Traveling these days and don’t have time to fix up. Made the mistake of letting son take to college. LOL will part with it for $6500 !!!
I was in the process of LS swapping an 80 series, my wife wants a 60 series... Needless to say, I am now looking for a 60/62 series. I will be doing an LS swap unless it currently runs, so the drivetrain is not important. A truck with a complete interior would be nice. Transfer case and axles must be present.
RUST - I am not afraid of rust but I do not want a rust bucket either. Rockers, dogleg, quarters, fenders don't scare me. I don't want to fool with roof rust.
All in all, looking to spend between 3-5K for a decent project truck.
Distance isn't a huge deal, ideally within 6-8 hours of Memphis, TN area.

Thinking about selling a basket case I picked up from a friend, he was in the midst of a divorce and purging projects.
Anyway he had the paint and body done in the original beige color but in a satin finish. Debadged.
He had the interior redone in a similar leather color to the paint. (Not installed)

I'm in the position where I'm thinking about giving up my project FJ60. I was in the process of swapping a 3FE from a 92 FJ80 into my FJ60 and ended up pausing the completion due to financial and work reasons. The 3FE is installed (all new engine gaskets and seals, new head gaskets and head bolts.) The engine came out of a running and driving FJ80 with 200-210K miles on it. The FJ60 body/chassis is lower at around 140-150K. The crusier was purchased at a salvage yard in Colorado by the previous owner. Proof of purchase and State inspection and title check is clear. But I do not have the title. I'm either selling this as a complete parts cruiser or someone can go through the bonding process and get a title for it...

The previous owner used this Land Cruiser as a hunting vehicle. It was completely covered in Rhino lining for protection against the brush. I scrapped 3/4 of the paint off to restore the value, and found no rust! I replaced the radiator, thermostat, and water pump. 9 months ago I couldn't get out of 1st gear, and the Land Cruiser Specialist out of Austin, TX did a Rodney flush and adjusted the kick down cable. After the maintenance everything ran great, but after over an hour at highway speed the transmission overheats. I can cruise all day long around town, but if I touch 65+ MPH the transmission will overheat.

185xxx miles. 1983 FJ60 that some past owner swapped in a 3B drivetrain supposedly from Canada and added a turbo and intercooler. I've daily driven this truck for 6 of the last 7 years since I got it. Drove it home from Atlanta to Kansas City. This has been a reliable rig as far as I'm concerned. However, the time I spend in the garage on this my wife would say otherwise. Always garaged since I've owned it.
First off: this truck is RUSTY. The brown hides it well, but it's there... kind of everywhere. Also, it leaks. If you're still interested read on.

Has some rust 4wd works great.
Has transmission problem when it gets hot it starts to slip. Changing the fluids this week to see if that will help. The trans fluid looks really dirty.

Great trail rig or project vehicle. 1989 FJ62 176k, motor runs great, transmission shifts as it should no problems, Yukon 4:88 gears, powertrax lockers front and rear, 2.5” lift Dakar springs BDS shocks, wrangler dual battery system with custom stainless steel trays, BF Goodrich all terrains 33x10.50x15 with 75% tread, some stainless steel brake lines, speed bleeders, 2 into one exhaust system, transfer case rebuilt McNamara gear added no more clunk and several spare parts(hoses gaskets bearings etc). Truck does have rust, the frame from rear wheels to front end is surface rust only, rear section is rusty and delaminating but still solid. Pictures will show other rust issues.
