I know that TLC4x4 moved from SoCal to NC, and that the move was pretty low key, but was it a sale? JW hasn't mentioned anything about TLC4x4 in a long time, and even on his most recent shop tour you can see between this shop tour and last years...

The fuel system is back in place for the most part. After examining the oil cooler and other coolant passage ways I opted to pull the head. With the help of @RodrigzCrzr the head came off. Only busted the air rail. Found a replacement through...

Well.... Not a cruiser... completely different build but I've been wanting one for years. Found a 100 year anniversary 1952 Studebaker Commander Starliner hard top. Single year model. Love the bullet nose so bought a donor for the front clip...

This place may be able to fix your air rail, as well as plate it with Nickle for high-temp durability. One of those rails below was buggered like yours and they fixed it for $30, then plated. It's on the truck now. I also had them re-braze...

When I was simply going to clean the engine bay and only replace a “few parts” I cut them to better cover the distributor with plastic, prior to pressure washing.

I just ordered a new head gasket and bolts so I’m now committing to pulling the head for the coolant passages. It’ll haunt me if not. New territory though I’ll be researching it while the parts ship.

He details it in his 60 thread. I bookmarked it on my computer at home so when I get back I can look it up. Also x2 on the coolant filter. Once I refurb my system I'll decide if there's a need to put one in mine as well.

This 60 had been sitting for 15 years or so. While rehabbing and flushing the coolant system I noticed the lines going from the t stat to the oil cooler were clogged with an alien substance. Probably a mixture of deteriorating hose, gasket and...
