You guys may remember this was up for sale late last year. I had a buyer from a craigslist ad (first to respond) and after two weeks of waiting for the tard to get the "funding"... I recinded the deal. Then decided to keep it. Then I broke my leg. Then a bud of mine made me a deal on his 80 I could not refuse. Now I have two awesome cruisers. One must go. (dam wimmins! ;p ) and since I'll be in a cast for at least another two months, the 80 w/ the auto wins. so......
Back up for grabs, and this time hopefully, without a Craigs ad. I would like to see this go to a Mudder, it's too clean of a rig for some jackass know nothing.
84. 178,xxx miles. Just passed CA smog with flying colors, not even close to "average" readings. Motor is super tight. No leaks, drips or sweats.
New: 4sp tranny and tcase rebuilt by Toy (prev owner) and clutch, birfs repacked, battery, Michelin tires almost brand new, Sony head unit and door speakers (nothing special, cheapo but works good), thermostat, front brake pads & rotors, AC re sealed and pumped (heat and AC kick ass).
Condition:
Interior- very good. Dash is crack free and clean. Carpet is all there, no holes or tears, just some stains here and there. Headliner, perfect. New shifter boots. All seals are in GREAT shape. Very quiet and weatherproof.
Exterior-outstanding. Original paint still shines and beads water. There are a few normal scratches here and there, NO fading. One miniscule "golf ball" dent in the hood that you wont find unless I point it out to you. Bumpers perfect.
Rust free you ask? There is NO rust on this body. If you can find some, you're a better man than I. Not even fore and aft of the wheel wells.
Everything works. I would have zero problem driving this rig across country, into Canada, Mexico or S America (if you're willing to try the Darrian Gap...
)
