Trying to move this thing for my dad as it only gets driven occasionally and is taking up space.
Was my older brothers DD before he went into the Marines.
Mostly stock fj60.
Original 2F and 4-speed with 155k miles.
The good:
Motor runs very good and is very solid, leaks very little oil.
Recently had about 1800 put into all new brakes, manifold gaskets, and some new emissions bits and pieces.
New alternator.
All new plugs, wires, cap, rotor.
All rockers and wheel wells are spotless, at most there is a little surface rust in some spots.
The Bad:
There is a dent in the passenger side door which could probably be popped out.
Drivers side door has one rough spot.
tailgate is rusted and could use replacement.
There is a small rust spot on the roof close to the rain gutter.
The truck was originally purchased in CO at high elevation and has never been properlly tuned to my location. It sometimes will buck or jolt but its very random, never leaves you stranded though.
A good tune job or rebuild on the carb would make it a very nice DD.
Both front and rear bumpers are tweaked on one side.
I've tried to disclose all i know about the truck. Its very solid and with only a few last things it would be an awesome truck
