I have a 1977 fj-40 that has 4 inch skyjacker kit, weber carb, hei, flowmaster exhaust and almost new 33" bfg mud terrains. All it needs is a new header as this one has developed a leak. The paint is all original so it is not perfect by any means. No major body damage or rust. It has been living in my garage since 1994, being driven off and on, i no longer drive it so its time for it to go. I live in Springfield, Oregon. I am asking 7000. If interested i can send pics. Also would trade 4x4 Tacoma.

1975 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40
This vehicle has spent most it’s life in a dry climate. Originally from Texas and spent a couple years in Vancouver before being in Eastern Oregon, then Central Oregon for the rest of it’s life. 2F Motor is strong and runs great has a Holley carb and Downey header (also have stock manifold). There is a little oil leak at the rear seal. The only other leak is the steering box. Which I have another steering box that I will throw in. Other then that mechanically it is in great shape. Electrical all works. Newer parts include / spark plugs and wires / distributor cap and rotor / air filter / oil filter / fuel filter, fuel tank and all fuel lines / new rancho rear shocks / new exhaust system/ downey header...

My son and I bought it some time ago to restore, he lost interest and I don't have the time or $$ to do it justice. I have over $2500 in it (receipts available) with most of that in the machine shop cost for the engine rebuild (we went with a 2F). The gas tank and radiator have been vatted, the tank has been lined.
History:
We bought it off a friend who bought it off of his brother-in-law, who bought it from a neighbor. It was a daily driver until it threw a rod about 12 years ago. It sat out back of his uncle's barn until we towed it home. That was about 6 years ago. Neither my friend, nor his brother-in-law ever transferred title, and I have been unable to find the neighbor - therefore - NO TITLE.

I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle, which makes this particular fj40 a perfect candidate for a full restoration. I bought it from a lady that owned it for 18 years, and took good care of it, as did I.
It is mostly in original condition.
Things I have replaced:
-shocks
-front seats (they are sweet offroading seats with high sides and shoulders)
-battery
-spark plugs
-plug wires
-distributer
-distributer cap
-ignition coil
-steering stabilizer shock
There is limited rust on the vehicle, just a few small spots. The worst is the rear sill (like all fj40's), but...

Chevy 327 V8, Edlebrock 4-brl Carb, Original 4-speed manual transmission, Warn locking hubs, 33 x 12.5 x 15 tires w/ full-sized spare, Rear Jump Seats, Soft doors (missing rear doors), Passenger-side grab bar, Internal Storage rack attached to roll cage, Lockable storage box installed under the driver's seat, Winch plate on front bumper, Custom exhaust w/ cherry bomb muffler, Tow-bar, Brand new starter and solenoid, Battery is a few months old, and still under warranty, New spark plug wires, Newer cap and rotor. Drum brakes.
Most of the tub (including the rear quarter panels and floor) was cut out and replaced. Floor boards in front were treated for rust, then fiber-glassed and painted...
Thought I was keeping this one forever, but I've got a modified 40 for the trail, and I want to build up or trade for an expedition ready FZJ for Baja trips. This one just sits and and goes to the supermarket. I've had this truck about 10 years and put less than 15K on her... I know... shameful! I believe it was originally a Texas truck
Its an early 1980 FJ40 with 119K original miles, pretty much all stock with 2" springs, 32" BFG and added Toyota stock power steering. Previous owner had it restored by CCOT in the early '98. It's seen some light use since then, has a few small scratches and chips in the paint, but is clean, clean, clean. Starts on the 1st turn every time. Drives like new. Replaced in the last 5K: water pump...
I have a 72' FJ40, V-8 Chevy 327. A short history, Im the thrid owner. Original owner bought it new, drove it for a bit, then parked it in his field. A former co-worker bought it from him, then I got it years after. Between myself and friend, the motor was put in when I first bought it, rebuilt axles, new tranny, clutch, t-case, brakes were re-built, new electrical. Parts that I have but not installed. Nothing special, rear fender flares, new hood in box, full roll cage, soft top, not sure of color but I believe white. I have pictures, and am more then willing to email them over to you. hi, i live in colorado outside of colorado springs and am looking for an older fj40.
I have a 1966 Ford Mustang that really doesn't suit me here, it is sitting in my garage (2wd and 9500ft alt and snow just don't mix) so i am putting it up on the trading block.

the mustang is in really good shape, the interior is really nice, and the exterior is straight (paint could be better but it looks good)
it has a 289 2v, c4 automatic with console. it needs to be tuned up, came from south carolina, and needs tuneup. doesn't smoke or leak.
the front suspension has been replaced with independent front suspension from a mustang II kit, disc brakes all the way around.

I have a 2008 toller no fly zone handmade duck boat for sale. i ve hunted out of it this season and it is and all around great boat. Its 18 ft long and has a 51 inch bottom. It has a 2007 mudbuddy hd 4000 with 60 hours on it also i have installed a brand new big blade prop. Like i said this is a handmade boat with well over 160 man hours put into it. I am selling my 74 fj40. Ijust bought it a few months ago and have to let it go already. Boo. It has a chevy 327 in it and runs good. 35 in tires, newwer soft top, hard top in good shape all good glass. Nearly completed FJ40 project cruiser for $3900 in Tacoma, Washington.
Has 2f engine, 4 speed transmission with a split transfer case, needs brakes completed, front driveline lengthened, misc items. Have most hardware. Inside and bottom of tub have been Rhino-lined. Frame has been sandblasted and painted. No rust, straight frame.
Hard top & windshield are off '79. All glass and seals are good. Great parts vehicle for your own landcruiser project. Would be a great parts vehicle, too. Will not separate.

This was a original barn find with 97k I bought about 6 mon. ago. here in colorado. I bought and built this truck to keep for a while hence all the money and time I put in it. Now we want a camper for dirt bike riding and snowboarding and I want to finish my built 80 series project. So here it is, It is the original 033 white still, 4.5" mafre safari lift, doestech shocks, stableizer, all new steering parts, complete front axle rebuild with marlin seals, 4:88's with ARB's front and rear, both shafts rebuilt and balanced. New 35x12.50 MTZ's on black rims. Near new aisin carb, intake/exh gasket, cap rotor,plugs wires etc... fj60 large dizzy upgrade. new interstate batt. valve adj, all new ehxaust and cat from manifold to tail pipe ($500)...
