I cannot recommend right stuff enough. Kohler command engines, one of the best Kohler motors ever built doesn't use a sump aka oil pan gasket, only sealer. If cleaned and applied properly right stuff will be leak free for the life of the motor...

Service bulletin: when you install all new charge pipes, hose connectors and t bolt clamps retorque at 100 miles and again at 500 miles. Seems if you don't your rig will wait until the coldest morning to date this season to blow off a connector...

I did not have to do any grinding on the UCA with my 1.5 spacers. I have a ball joint lift so my UCA is more in the meat of the tire where yours will likely be closer to the lip of the rim. I was saying that you might get lucky with 265s with...

They will fit but front tires may hit upper control arm. My tires are 285 70 17 and hit pretty good. As stated in previous I went with 1.5 inch spacers. Lug centric in front (spider Trax) and trail gear hub centric in rear. ARP wheel studs...

Awesome. Good to know I can find a replacement if this one dies.

Window switch quit working today, cracked in center, and can't find my spare 1st gen switch. Pulled 2nd gen switch (92). Same 5 wires and same color but in different order. Tried hooking then up to color code after not being able to find...

4.10 to 4.30, only did country 2 lane highway test runs so far. Much happier at 45 MPH in 4th gear approximately 2000 rpms. Plenty of umph going up hills. Only a sub 5% increase in (roughly 200) rpms but night and day difference at common...

Just hit 300 miles on a little under 1/2 tank of fuel. I'm pretty sure it's a 17 gallon tank My speedometer is still off by 5 mph (says I'm doing 50 when I'm doing 45) but I'm not going to screw with adjusting until I put my 4.30 gears in. I...

It you can't get confirmation on the Yota diesel mounts look at the Isuzu 4bd1t and 4bd2t engine mounts. I don't recall what angle they sat at but they did sit at an angle iirc. Near 800lbs motor. Very similar footprint to your current mounts...

600 is a good deal of weight but the 3.0 is @500. I would think that would be close enough to not matter, if used in proper angle. My set up retained unmodified frame mount brackets

What's the weight of that motor? My 2.0 TDI, cast iron block and aluminum head is sitting on stock eBay sourced 22re mounts with no issues. I have maybe 3/4 of an inch gap between my front differential and the oil pan. My motor weighs between...

Picking up a 92 v6 4runner on Saturday with rusty body but is supposed to run well. It has the 4.30 gears I want. Plan to swap trans and thirds, see how I like the highway rpms (I lose 4mph at 3000 rpms 88 vs 84) I might not need to swap...

I don't know what brand they used but is is the higher quality ceramic. It's late in the year so the sun isn't as high as it usually is but I no longer need sunglasses to drive home in the evenings. I am supposed to be swapping the rear axle...

I just googled input shafts for the 150 and while I need to verify which model they are less than 90 bucks so if you're like me and don't do this for a living a new input shaft would be cheap insurance. Thank you again

Could the damage been done thanks to the bearing retainer you're upgrading with the Marlin crawler retainer plate (play where bearing sits on housing causing gears to pop out)? I've also seen a lot of mentioning of play on input shafts on the...

I've found gl4 to be extremely hard to find locally but stay lube which I believe you be conventional was cheapish for a gallon on Amazon. Still took 4 days to arrive. I have redline gl4 but it's synthetic, I read good online reviews on it...

Thank you so much for the info. I'm looking for a core as we speak to try this.

Had some water in my trans I found before install. Dumped it and put in some cheap orileys 80w90. Did two flushes and then put in proper gl4 stay lube. Went from notchy shifts and hard to find down shifting to just a grind in 3rd unless I...

About to rebuild a grindy 3rd gear r150f myself. Are there year break ax15 gears and counter? With the pre 95 r150 I think there are year breaks for bearings and maybe synchros. I'd love to do this upgrade.

Looking for an r150f. Anything from smooth shifting low mile trans or a grindy shifting core. My supposed like new Craigslist grinds third unless I speed shift and would like to eliminate down time on my daily driver rig. Located near...

A little mileage update since that's what the diesel swap is all about Driven to work for 5 days now. Approximately 40 to 50 miles a day. Filled up from half a tank the night before my first drive. I'm slightly above half a tank Too early to...

Speedometer is within 5mph. Not bad for first try. Next issue is the cruse control turns on, lights up the gauge cluster cruise light but not activating. Heat works well too. Hit 65 or so mph with no vibration but she's about as squrley on...
