Put the hard top back on. Lockered up the rear (Aussie), new shackles, bolts, bushings and spring pens- all greasable. Yes I know they are on backwards. For now it will have to do since they hit the exhaust! Going back to standard shackles soon. Also added a radiator shroud to the SBC. Also new apron logos!

Interesting answer since I responded to a guy on this forum who mentioned putting on the Oil bypass kit and then waited a few days for an answer that didn't come.

I then went to the Copper Cruiser Arizona and presented the question. That ended up with a fair amount of discourse and at least I learned quite a bit as to what it works on and the years it fit. Or maybe I posted there first and then found the thread on this forum and ask the question here - either way all the action was on the other thread which basically came to an end.

You must have silver coins dribbling out of your pants pocket. I sure don't - in fact I live dollar to dollar so $65 is a fair amount of money and working out how something works and determining what is afordable is a worthwhile endevor. !!!!!!!

come on, now considering the time you have spent about this on the forum by now, you wasted more than those $65 dollars just in your own time

Scuffed and painted my roof.

Replaced failed fuel pump. My new bosch pump ate a piece of stuff from the tank and locked up. I installed a 100u suction filter to keep the crud out of the new one.

Tore down odometer and cleaned hardened grease out to get it working. Set it back to 0 to match the fresh 3FE. Used the very good information here on MUD as guidance.

Also replaced the last 2 original coolant hoses on the 3FE, finally no more leaks. If you rebuild your engine, don't be cheap like me, replace the coolant hoses. My truck has no leaks for the first time since I've owned it.

Brand new 1973 40

I got my brand new to me 1973 40 off the truck from AZ and tucked it into it's new home here in NC. Then I sat it in for an hour. After that I finished the first mod. Put a picture of me and the on the dash like a WWII fighter pilot.
