We drove to a waterfall just outside of Bogota. Lots of twisties , turns, low and high elevation. The Land Cruiser ran flawlessly. We had a great lunch (menu del dia) at a roadside restaurant. The weather held up well, as we were expected to get rain.

I took the transmission down. I forgot/didn’t understood change the input axle seal when everything was open. That chinese cheap motocross bike lift was a big help. So tight to get off, maybe easier with the bellhousing? 3B and H41 here. View attachment 3972834
Started digging into the second rust repair spot, midpoint of the rocker, above the running board. Had a little surprise when I unbolted the running board bolts and it fell off! I hadn’t undone the carriage bolt that holds it to the stay that extends out from the frame.
Typical. I was planning to change the running board out, but I’ve got a lot of irons in the fire at the moment. So I got a big washer and slipped it behind the oversized hole, welded it in and re-slotted the track
