pulled the distributor and put it in the correct direction and got it started for the first time in probably 3+ years. after getting the distributor corrected started up on the first try w/ in 3 or 4 seconds. also got a few body mounts on, need to finish that up this week and start getting pieces bolted on.

Pulled the Paki top off due to mildew or mold forming and in anticipation putting the hard top back on. Took the doors off, the hinges need to be honed or drilled out for new bushing and pins.

Tightened up the bolts on the oil pan, they were very loose. Then degreased the inside of the engine bay and undercarriage.

Next up, reworking the overhead panel in the roll cage and installing a rear overhead panel in the cage.

Finished pulling transfer from tranny to replace the main bearings that i lunched on my road trip back to Durango:bang: But on the good side got my new bearings and gaskets from Kurt @ CruiserOufitters! thx aagin Kurt:cheers:

Truck at the body shop but picked up some needed items from MUD members this weekend. ERICS picked all pull switches and knobs (thanks man, great meeting ya) and got my Steelies from Rumbum. Going to restore the steelies this week and get them painted.

Started disc brake conversion. It may be down for awhile.:crybaby:

Changed the gear oil in the diffs, fixed a coolant leak, drove around the block.....the long way.....

Added a bunch of bolts to the hardtop which has quietened things down a great deal. Added some cheap seat covers, and tried to put the internal hardware back on my liftgate - as to be expected I was missing parts...

Sounds like you'll be ready for some wheelin before I will. :D

Though it did not happen this weekend, I replaced EVERY bolt in the hard top with new hardware.... And, replaced the lost "L" bracket from the windshield to the hardtop...
Putting an Aussie Locker in the rear, this weekend with my friend.

Coming soon... Power Steering, because 35 x 12.50's are not fun at all with manual steering...

Cleared off the snow, added a lil' gas to the carb and played in the snow...

Destin---good pic's.

Replaced the clutch master

Repaired the broken wire that happened during the clutch master replacement.

Relocated the steering stabilizer bracket so I could install the stabilizer with the FJ60 ps. Wow big difference, the stabilizer takes out the slight vibration at 40 mph caused by wheel balance and reduced the bump steer. Nice!

Orion

Dropped out my tranny/transfercase because the adapter plate mating my SBC to my Toyota 4 speed tranny had come loose and sheared off the bolts into the bellhousing. That's what that noise was! So, after gutting my interior to get to the floor pan, to drop the tranny/trans, i figured now's the time to upgrade to that Orion ive always wanted! Georg @ Valley Hybrids is building mine and i cant wait to bolt it in! :bounce:
